A head-up display adapted for use with a windshield or a flat combiner includes an image-generating unit, a curved mirror and a concave mirror. The image-generating unit is operable to generate a light image propagating along a first optical path. The curved mirror is arranged downstream of the first optical path to form a first reflected light image propagating along a second optical path. The concave mirror is arranged downstream of the second optical path to form a second reflected light image propagating along a third optical path to be reflected onto the windshield or the flat combiner. The third optical path extends inclinedly relative to the second optical path and intersects with the first optical path.
Abstract:
A single-stage AC-to-DC converter includes a bus capacitor, a power factor correcting module, a resonant converting module and a control module. The power factor correcting module generates, based on an AC (alternating current) input voltage, a first control signal and a second control signal, a DC (direct current) bus voltage across the bus capacitor and an intermediate voltage switching between the bus voltage and zero. The resonant converting module generates a DC output voltage based on the intermediate voltage. The control module generates, based on the bus voltage, the first and second control signals, each of which switches between an active state and an inactive state and has a duty cycle associated with the bus voltage.
Abstract:
A fixing gun includes a gun body and a loading device. The gun body is for manipulation of a fastener, and has a loading hole. The loading device includes a guide member and a linkage mechanism. The guide member is formed with a first guide groove and a second guide groove. The linkage mechanism includes a lower link, a slide member, and a clamp assembly for holding the fastener. The slide member is disposed movably on the guide member. The lower link is pivoted to the slide member and the clamp assembly. During movement of the slide member relative to the guide member for moving the fastener into the loading hole, the lower link is alternatively engaged to the first guide groove and the second guide groove.
Abstract:
A method for supplying power is implemented by an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) equipment that includes a bus, a power supply and a UPS device. The method includes the steps of: determining whether a supply power outputted by the power supply to a load is in an abnormal condition; boosting a voltage level of a backup power outputted by the UPS device to be greater than the voltage level of the supply power in a normal condition so as to output a backup current to the load; decreasing the voltage level of the backup power gradually; and determining whether the supply power is still in the abnormal condition according to a current value of the backup current during decrease of the voltage level of the backup power.
Abstract:
A voice coil motor array module includes a carrier frame defining a plurality of receiving spaces and a plurality of magnet-mounting spaces disposed in pairs and in symmetry around the receiving spaces. Any two adjacent receiving spaces have only one magnet-mounting space therebetween. A plurality of magnetic components are respectively disposed in the magnet-mounting spaces. Each magnet-mounting space receives only one magnetic component. The magnetic components surrounding a corresponding receiving space have same magnetic poles facing each other. A plurality of displacement components are respectively disposed in the receiving spaces. Each displacement component includes a lens carrier and a coil.
