摘要: A device receives a measurement signal, and assigns samples thereof to signal window formed from a portion of a sequence of the samples. During initialization, signal windows are determined as initialization windows, and therefrom noise windows are determined and analyzed using an Xth-order model. Initial coefficient tuples are assigned to each noise window, and noise tuples are ascertained therefrom. During examination, signal windows are determined as measurement windows, which use the Xth-order model. The associated coefficients that form a measurement tuple assigned to each of the measurement windows are ascertained, as is a distance of the associated measurement tuple from the noise tuple for each of the measurement windows. The measurement windows whose associated measurement tuple is at a respective distance from the noise tuple that is greater than a limit value are determined as error signal windows representing a signal error.

摘要: A method analyzes an operating condition of a power converter. The method includes: providing a sample clock signal; determining repeatedly at least one operating parameter of a power semiconductor device of the power converter; and determining the operating condition of the power converter depending on the at least one determined operating parameter. The repetitions of the determining the at least one operating parameter are synchronous to the sample clock signal. For a given repetition of the determination of the at least one operating parameter, determining the at least one operating parameter includes measuring the at least one operating parameter or identifying a value for the at least one operating parameter from a previous repetition depending on a switching behavior of the power converter within the given repetition.

摘要: A method that operates a modular multilevel converter (MMC), includes controlling a plurality of submodules of an arm of the MMC for a plurality of subsequent periods. Each of the submodules has a capacitor. The controlling includes, for each of the subsequent periods: sampling a value of a reference voltage; determining an integer number n of submodules of the plurality of submodules required to approximate the sampled value; for each submodule of a subset of the n submodules of the plurality of submodules, determining a temperature characterizing the respective submodule; inserting all submodules of the subset of the n submodules except for one remaining submodule; determining, depending on the determined temperatures, a duty ratio; and inserting the one remaining submodule for a duration given by the duty ratio. A minimum temperature of the determined temperatures is identified and the duty ratio is determined depending on the minimum temperature.

摘要: A modular multilevel converter is for a high voltage testing source. The modular multilevel converter includes: an arm, the arm having a plurality of submodules coupled in series, wherein each of the submodules has a capacitor; and a control unit for controlling a pre-charging process of the capacitor of each of the submodules prior to a start of operation of the modular multilevel converter. The control unit is configured to: connect the arm to a constant voltage source for a first period of time; and, for a second period of time after the first period of time, feed a charging current to the arm and control the charging current at a predetermined constant reference current.

摘要: A method analyzes an operation of a power semiconductor device. The method includes: providing a set of reference voltages of the power semiconductor device and a set of corresponding reference currents; measuring an on-state voltage and a corresponding on-state current of the power semiconductor device to obtain a measurement point; adapting the set of reference voltages by adapting two of the set of reference voltages lying closest to the measurement point by extrapolating the measurement point; and using the adapted set of reference voltages to analyze the operation of the power semiconductor device. The extrapolation is based on a predefined reference increment current and a predefined reference increment voltage.

摘要: A method monitors capacitor bushings for an AC mains. The mains has first-third phases, associated with first-third mains lines, capacitor bushings, and mains voltages. Each capacitor bushing has a conductor, surrounded by foil, connecting its mains line. The method includes: at a first instant, for each phase: a first reference voltage phasor is determined; and a foil voltage present between the respective foil and ground potential is detected and a corresponding first foil voltage phasor is determined; at a second instant, for each of the phases: a second reference voltage phasor is determined; the foil voltage is detected and a second foil voltage phasor is determined; for each capacitor bushing: a loss factor change is calculated based on the respective reference voltages and foil phasors and those of the adjacent capacitive bushing; and a monitoring signal is generated based on a comparison of the loss factor and a tolerance value.

摘要: A power electronic system includes a transistor, a feedback device, and an evaluator. The feedback device is connected between a control terminal of the transistor and a collector terminal of the transistor. The feedback device is configured to provide a negative feedback to the transistor. The evaluator is configured to determine a junction temperature of the transistor or an on-state current of the transistor based upon on a control voltage of the transistor.

摘要: A method monitors capacitor bushings of a three-phase AC mains, which has first, second, and third mains lines respectively associated with first, second, and third: phases, capacitor bushings, and mains voltages. Each of the capacitor bushings has: a conductor connected with the associated mains line, and an electrically conductive foil enclosing the conductor. The method includes, for each of the phases: determining, at a predetermined initial instant for a characteristic variable, which is characteristic for the respective capacitor bushing, a corresponding characteristic value; determining, at a predetermined later instant after the initial instant for the characteristic variable, a corresponding normalised characteristic value in dependence on the respective characteristic value and/or on at least one of remaining characteristic values; and checking whether the normalised characteristic value has impermissibly changed.

摘要: A switching element for a tap changer, the switching element having a vacuum interrupter that includes a movable contact, a plunger connected with the movable contact, and a housing, in the interior of which, the movable contact is arranged. The switching element also has an actuator configured to actuate the plunger and thereby actuate the movable contact; and a guide. The guide is arranged outside of the housing and is attached to the actuator such that, when actuation of the movable contact takes place, the guide is configured to move therewith. The guide surrounds the housing at least in part, and at least a sub-region of the guide bears against the housing such that, when the movable contact is actuated, the sub-region is moved along the housing.
