摘要： A driving force from a motor is transmitted through a pinion, a first gear, a second gear, a third gear, a link, a control lever, a control shaft, a parking shaft and a parking lever to a parking pole. A lost motion spring is mounted between the control shaft and the parking lever for biasing the parking pole toward a parking gear. A one-way clutch is mounted between the third gear and a housing. The one-way clutch permits the driving force from the motor to be transmitted to the parking pole and prevents the resilient force of the lost motion spring from being transmitted back to the motor.

摘要： An image recording apparatus for recording an image on an image receiving sheet with use of a photosensitive microcapsule sheet on which microcapsules being photohardenable upon exposure and being hardened by heating are applied, is disclosed.The image recording apparatus comprises an exposing means for rendering the microcapsules hardenable upon exposure thereby, a heating means for forming a latent image on the photosensitive sheet by heating the exposed hardenable microcapsules, a feeding means for feeding the photosensitive sheet to the image receiving sheet through a feeding path and a pressure means for transferring the latent image on the image receiving sheet by pressurizing both photosensitive sheet and the image receiving sheet in superposing the sheets.In such the image recording apparatus, the feeding means is located downstream the heating means on the feeding path.According to the image recording apparatus, since the feeding means is arranged downstream the heating means on the feeding path in the present invention, the microcapsules on the photosensitive sheet are never unnecessarily ruptured by the feeding means before the exposed photosensitive sheet is heated by the heating means. Accordingly, the image with good quality can be formed on the image receiving sheet without injuring the formed image to unnecessarily rupture the microcapsules applied on the photosensitive sheet.

摘要： A composite disk playing method according to which, at the time of playing a disk, identifier data are read out, a signal is read out from a multiplex recording area to reproduce and output a predetermined one of an analog video signal and a digital video signal when it is determined in accordance with the identifier data that the type of the disk to be played is a composite disk on which the analog video signal and the digital video signal have been recorded, and subsequently a signal is read out from the multiplex recording area to thereby reproduce and output the other signal. In playing a composite disk, therefore, longer disk playing becomes possible automatically.

摘要： A sheet storage case for storing therein a stack of sheets. The sheet storage case is assembled into a sheet feeding device which feeds out an uppermost sheet of the stack of sheets. The sheet storage case includes a bottom plate, a first positioning member fixedly secured to the bottom plate and a slidably movable second positioning member provided in the bottom plate. The second positioning member has a sheet receiving portion for receiving the stack of sheets. The second positioning member is movable toward and away from the first positioning member. To mount a stack of sheet on the sheet storage case, the second positioning member is moved away from the first positioning member, the sheets are placed on the sheet receiving portion, and then the second positioning member is moved toward the first positioning member. The side edges of the sheets are aligned, because the sheets are fittedly interposed between the two positioning members. The uppermost sheet is taken out by a mechanism which includes a suction cut which is brought to contact with the uppermost sheet to attract the latter. The suction cup to which the sheet is attracted is swung in the position above the sheet storage case to separate the uppermost sheet from the reminder.

摘要： A two-way CATV system having a substantial number of terminals incorporates a central processor and transmitter system which continually interrogates the terminals at high speed, monitoring changes of usage of premium programs and other data while also permitting central control of access to restricted premium programs. For inexpensive but reliable intercommunication, short, fixed word length digital messages are frequency multiplexed onto the cable in both upstream and downstream directions, and subscriber groups are controllably selected in turn, with each subscriber being scanned in what may be an arbitrary order by transmission of unique private messages which are recognized at the terminal and in response to which previously prepared fixed length messages are immediately transmitted in return. By employing both upstream and downstream messages which are initiated by a series of synchronizing bits and non-ambiguously related subsequent data sequences, and by the provision of means to initiate both downstream and upstream messages of short length without delay, rapid but reliable data interchange is effected despite differences in transmission and response times with different subscribers. Concurrently, terminal status and various special conditions including security alarms are remotely processed at each terminal, and short upstream messages are assembled containing priority selected data to be transmitted in response to an interrogation. The system incorporates additional means for monitoring power status, program selection and authorization and other operating conditions at each terminal effectively to provide accurate and reliable accounting information while preventing unauthorized or improper usage of restricted premium programs.
