    摘要: A workpiece for a hollow rack shaft is a substantially rectangular plate. The opposite two sides of this workpiece are respectively provided with a complementary profile composed of the continuation of a convex portion and a concave portion and when the workpiece is cylindrically formed, the profiles are mutually engaged. As the width of a part the width of which is the largest in the convex portion is larger than that of a part the width of which is the smallest in the concave portion, the two sides are prevented from being detached after engagement. Further, the opposite convex portion and concave portion are mutually caulked and hereby, mutual gap is removed.

    摘要: The object of the invention is to provide a rack shaft having two rack teeth groups and hollowed throughout the whole body, to lightweightize the shaft and to reduce the cost. The two rack teeth groups are located longitudinally apart from each other and have phase difference related to an angle around the axis of the shaft. After the two rack teeth groups are formed simultaneously or sequentially by die forming on the flat bottoms of the workpiece beforehand gutter-shaped, the legs of the gutter-shaped workpiece are bent to butt to each other and, thereby, a tubular body of the shaft is given to the workpiece. The centers of the material are offset beforehand corresponding to the phase difference.

    摘要: Scroll compressors may include a stationary scroll, a drive shaft, a crank shaft coupled to the drive shaft, a bearing member coupled to the crank shaft and a movable scroll coupled to the crank shaft. The movable scroll is typically disposed adjacent to the stationary scroll. Further, the movable scroll preferably includes a boss that extends in the axial direction of the crank shaft. A spacer may be disposed between the boss and the bearing member and the spacer preferably transmits orbital movement of the crank shaft to the movable scroll. A compression chamber is defined by a space between the stationary scroll and the movable scroll. Fluid (e.g. a refrigerant gas) is compressed within the compression chamber when the movable scroll revolves or orbits with respect to the stationary scroll. A discharge port may be defined within the movable scroll and may be adapted to discharge the compressed fluid to a side that is opposite of the stationary scroll. A discharge valve is preferably coupled to the discharge port and is operable to open and close the discharge port. The discharge valve may, for example, include a reed valve and a retainer that holds the reed valve. Further, the spacer may be fixed to the inner circumferential surface of the boss by a frictional fit and may contact the discharge valve. The bearing member may be, e.g., a plain bearing or a needle bearing.

    摘要: A compensating method for a positioner is provided, which makes it possible to avoid any temperature-compensating circuit and any linearity-compensating circuit for a position sensor, and reduce the production cost. The position sensor, which detects the displacement amount of a movable section of an objective control device operated on the basis of a control signal outputted from the positioner, provides an output which is subjected to the temperature compensation calculation by using a linear expression including a slope and an intercept determined on the basis of a temperature measured by a temperature sensor to obtain a temperature-compensated output data. The temperature-compensated output data is subjected to the linearity compensation calculation for compensating the nonlinearity of the position sensor by using a linear expression including a slope and an intercept determined on the basis of the temperature-compensated output data to obtain a linearity-compensated output data for which the nonlinearity has been compensated. An actuator is operated and controlled on the basis of the linearity-compensated output data.

    摘要: A light transmission powder and granular material measuring apparatus for a continuous production line assembly is provided. A conduit line is capable of being connected to the production line to provide an alternative flow path for the powder and/or granular material. A light transmission cell is mounted in the conduit and a measurement apparatus is provided for measuring the light as it passes through the light transmission cell. A valve member can interconnect the conduit to the production line to control the flow of powder and/or granular material, whereby a measurement can be made when the valve is activated to permit the flow of powder and/or granular material to provide an accurate measurement, and also a measurement can be made as a reference measurement during a calibration cycle when the valve is activated to stop the flow of powder and/or granular material. The light transmission powder and/or granular material measuring apparatus can be provided as a modular unit for mounting in a continuous production line and can be automatically controlled to periodically calibrate its measurements.

    摘要: A scroll-type compressor includes a front housing, a rear housing, and stationary and movable scrolls engaging with each other to define a plurality of compression chambers therebetween. The stationary scroll is connected to the rear housing to define a discharge chamber therebetween. The stationary and movable scrolls are provided between the front and rear housings so that the movable scroll moves along an orbiting path. A drive shaft extends through the front housing and is drivingly connected to the movable scroll. The rotation of the drive shaft moves the movable scroll along the orbiting path to shift the compression chambers from the periphery to the center of the scrolls with the volume of the chambers reducing. A slider plate, substantially in the form of a ring, for providing a sliding surface for the movable scroll, relative to the front housing, is disposed between the front housing and the movable scroll. The slider plate includes first and second slots which are disposed diametrically opposite to each other and extend radially and circumferentially, respectively. A pair of pins are provided for engagement with the first and second slots of the slider plate to lock and secure the slider plate to the front housing or to the movable scroll.

When molding the scroll member, a recess deeper than the depth of the groove to be machined is created. The groove is obtained by machining the scroll member as molded by a milling tool. The widened portion of the groove is formed by moving a milling tool along a closed trajectory, so that the recess is left un-machined.
