Abstract: Systems and methods of providing RAT co-existence and congestion control in V2V communications are generally described. A vUE detects specific non-LTE RAT transmissions in a listening period of a PSCCH or PSSCH, determines whether a metric has been met and reselects to a non-overloaded channel to communicate with other vUEs or the eNB. The manner of reselection is dependent on the RAT specific or V2X service priorities of the channels, as well as whether the channels are V2V service dependent.

Abstract: The disclosure describes mechanisms for reliability enhancement on control channel and data channel and mechanisms in URLLC. An apparatus of a RAN node for URLLC includes baseband circuitry to configure at least one DCI for scheduling transmission of at least one PDSCH content having same information. For each DCI, the baseband circuitry determines a CORESET for transmitting the DCI. The disclosure further describes mechanisms for the support of low latency transmission in URLLC. To improve peak data rate and spectrum efficiency in FDD system, the RAN node configures a DCI for scheduling data transmission using blank resources of a self-contained slot structure. Further, CBG-based transmission with separate HARQ-ACK feedback is provided to configure a DCI for scheduling data transmission of a TB and to divide the TB into multiple CBGs, and to configure uplink control data to carry separate HARQ feedback for the CBGs.

Abstract: Described is an apparatus of a User Equipment (UE). The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry, a second circuitry, and a third circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to process one or more configuration transmissions from the gNB carrying a rule for Uplink (UL) collisions and process a first Downlink (DL) transmission and a second DL transmission. The second circuitry may be operable to identify a first UL transmission for the first DL transmission and a second UL transmission for the second DL transmission, the first UL transmission overlapping with the second UL transmission in at least one Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol. Abstract: Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), Generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are disclosed herein. The UE may attempt to decode sidelink synchronization signals (SLSSs) received on component carriers (CCs) of a carrier aggregation. In one configuration, synchronization resources for SLSS transmissions may be aligned across the CCs at subframe boundaries in time, restricted to a portion of the CCs, and restricted to a same sub-frame. The UE may, for multiple CCs, determine a priority level for the CC based on indicators in the SLSSs received on the CC. The UE may select, from the CCs on which one or more SLSSs are decoded, the CC for which the determined priority level is highest. The UE may determine a reference timing for sidelink communication based on the one or more SLSSs received on the selected CC.

Abstract: Embodiments of a Generation Node-B (gNB), User Equipment (UE) and methods for communication are generally described herein. The gNB may allocate a resource pool of physical resource blocks (PRBs) and sub-frames for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) sidelink transmissions. The gNB may receive, from a UE, an uplink control message that indicates that the UE requests a V2V sidelink transmission of a prioritized message. The gNB may select, for the V2V sidelink transmission of the prioritized message, one or more PRBs and one or more sub-frames. The gNB may transmit, to the UE and to other UEs, a downlink control message that indicates: the selected PRBs, the selected sub-frames, and that the other UEs are to mute sidelink transmissions in the selected PRBs in the selected sub-frames to enable the V2V sidelink transmission of the prioritized message.
