摘要: In a semiconductor device including: an insulating film (6) formed over a substrate (1); a buried metal interconnect (10) formed in the insulating film (6); and a barrier metal film (A1) formed between the insulating film (6) and the metal interconnect (10), the barrier metal film (A1) includes a metal oxide film (7), a metal compound film (8) and a metal film (9) stacked in this order from a side in which the insulating film (6) exists to a side in which the metal interconnect (10) exists. Elastic modulus of the metal compound film (8) is larger than that of the metal oxide film (7).

摘要: A hemodialysis apparatus that carries out hemodialysis treatment by measuring or calculating the blood volume or its volume change as a blood indication level, and by controlling dialysis conditions according to said target blood indication level, wherein the chronological course of said blood indication level is defined as a target control line, and the primary blood volume (BV0) can be calculated as blood indication level. In the former part of the dialysis operation, the water removal is controlled so that the circulating blood volume in the body approach to the standard blood volume (BV st) with the use of said target control line. After the water removal of the former part of the dialysis operation, when the circulating blood volume in the body attains the standard blood volume (BV st), the latter part of the dialysis operation is started. In said latter part of the dialysis operation, the water removal operation is performed by substantively maintaining said standard blood volume (BV st).

摘要: A method for preparing a silicone elastomer porous material includes the steps of (1) providing a water-in-oil emulsion including a liquid silicone rubber material which forms a silicone elastomer upon curing, a silicone oil material that has a surface activation function, and water droplets dispersed in the liquid silicone rubber material, (2) subjecting the emulsion to a primary heating, thereby curing the liquid silicone rubber material to form a silicone elastomer and confining the water droplets within the silicone elastomer substantially as they are present in the emulsion, and (3) subjecting the silicone elastomer to a secondary heating, thereby evaporating and removing the water droplets from the silicone elastomer, thereby forming the silicone elastomer porous material.

摘要: An image forming apparatus and a control method for the apparatus are disclosed. In this image forming apparatus which has a printing unit selectively using a desired one of a plurality of types of ink cartridges and can receive monochromatic and color facsimile images, appropriate ink remaining amount detection or appropriate received facsimile image printing control can be performed in accordance with the type of received image and the type of loaded cartridge. In receiving/printing monochromatic and color images, a received image is discriminated as a color or monochromatic image, and the type of cartridge currently loaded into an ink-jet printing unit capable of performing printing operation by selecting one of a plurality of printing capabilities is discriminated. In accordance with these discrimination results, control is performed to automatically print the received image using the printing unit or stored it in an image memory or the like.

摘要: A rotational phase difference detecting system, a method that is capable of very accurately detecting a rotational phase difference between a plurality of rotating bodies, a machine operating-state monitoring system, and a method employing the rotational phase difference detecting system. The detecting system has a first rotating body with a first mark, a second rotating body with a second mark, a mark sensor for detecting the first mark, a first camera for imaging the second mark when the mark sensor detects the first mark, and a display section for displaying the second mark imaged by the first camera. The rotational phase difference is detected from a position of an image of the second mark displayed on the display section and is thus detected very accurately with a simple construction comprising the mark sensor, the first camera, and the display section.

摘要: A communication apparatus includes a main unit and a communication control unit. The communication control unit informs the main unit of an incoming call. The main unit makes a judgement on whether the incoming call should be accepted. In accordance with this judgement, the main unit instructs the communication control unit to respond to the incoming call. The communication control unit responds to the incoming call in accordance with the judgement by the main unit. In accordance with the state of a memory for storing received signals or with the called party number, the main unit makes a judgement on whether the incoming call should be rejected or ignored.
