    摘要: A method for delivering a received frame packet, to be transmitted from a packet data service node to a mobile station in a dormant state by a packet control function in a mobile communication system capable of providing data service or Push-To-Talk (PTT) service to the mobile station, via a base station connected to the packet control function. The packet control function delivers the received packet data and paging data to the base station where the mobile station in the dormant state is located. The base station forms the received packet data into an SDB (Short Data Burst), includes the SDB in a DBM (Data Burst Message) message, and transmits the DBM message to the mobile station if an analysis result of the received paging data indicates that the mobile station in the dormant state has requested fast packet paging and the base station can currently provide the fast packet paging.

The method includes receiving, for a data channel, a number of first components, which indicates an amount of resources used with a first resource allocation scheme, and a number of second components, which indicates an amount of resources used with a second resource allocation scheme, from the base station over a common control channel; determining first and second identifier lengths of channel elements for the first and second resource allocation schemes according to the number of first components and the number of second components; receiving resource allocation information including an identifier indicating at least one channel element allocated to the terminal, over a data control channel using one of the identifier lengths; and transmitting and receiving data over a resource of a channel element indicated by the received identifier.

    摘要: A system is provided for managing mobility of an Access Terminal (AT) in a Proxy Mobile Internet Protocol (PMIP) communication system. As the AT performs a handoff, a target Signaling Radio Network Controller (SRNC) delivers session information of the AT, acquired from a source SRNC of a source network, to a target Access Network (AN). An Authentication, Authorization and Accounting server (AAA) performs an AT access authentication process. Then, a target Access Gateway (AGW) performs a proxy registration procedure, with the target AN, and receives, from the AT, a message indicating a need to establish an interface with the HA. A Home Agent (HA) performs mobility management for the AT, receives a message for requesting proxy registration for mobility management for the AT, sends an access request message to the AAA, receives an access accept message, and sends a response message for proxy registration to the target AGW.

    摘要: An apparatus and method for determining a transmission unit for data stream transmission in a wireless communication system in which multiple transmission and reception antennas are used and a receiver provides information on a data stream to be transmitted through a transmission unit. A fading estimator calculates fading values from the multiple transmission antennas to the multiple reception antennas. A channel quality estimator reverse-orders combined weights for multiple transmission units based on the fading values from the multiple transmission antennas to the multiple reception antennas, successively selects transmission units for data stream transmission among the reverse-ordered transmission units, determines a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) for each of the selected transmission units, and feeds back the MCS to a transmitter.
