摘要: Metal complexes containing azabenzothiazole are disclosed, which comprise a new series of ligands containing azabenzothiazole structure. The metal complexes can be used as emitters in the emissive layer of an organic electroluminescent device. The use of these novel metal complexes as emitters in OLED devices leads to more saturated color than the compounds containing benzothiazole ligands. An electroluminescent device and a formulation are also disclosed.

摘要: Novel silicon containing compounds for organic electroluminescent devices is disclosed. The compounds can be used as emitters in the emissive layer of the organic electroluminescent device. More specifically, these compounds can emit blue light. The devices incorporating these compounds as emitters show unexpecting higher efficiency and longer lifetime than prior art compounds. Also disclosed is an organic electroluminescent device and a formulation.

摘要: Novel compounds, and in particular, a dendritic system for improved triple-triplet annihilation upconversion (TTA-UC) are provided. The core of the dendrimer compound includes a metal complex, and on the peripheral, multiple acceptor moieties are covalently linked to the core through a spacer. Consequently, a high efficiency TTA-UC system in both solution and solid state is provided, with particularly high efficiency in the solid state. Additionally, organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) comprising a layer including these novel compounds are provided.

Also provided are electronic devices made using the ionic compounds of the present invention, and methods of making an electronic device.

摘要: Methods for fabricating a solution-processed OLED are provided. The methods include depositing an organic layer comprising mixture of an organic electron acceptor and an organic electron donor to form a layer that is insoluble to a non-polar solvent. Devices containing the organic layer may demonstrate improved lifetime and have a lower operating voltage while maintaining good luminous efficiency.
