    摘要: A comparator circuit includes a differential amplifier including load resistors, for amplifying difference between two input voltages of the comparator circuit; an emitter follower circuit for applying positive feedback with respect to a differential amplifier and outputting an output voltage of the comparator circuit; and a grounded-base amplifier, and outputting an output voltage of the comparator circuit, for realizing both voltage output and current output. A grounded-base amplifier includes two transistors each of which has a base supplied with a reference voltage. The differential amplifier includes two load resistors respectively connected to each emitter of the transistors of the grounded-base amplifier. The load resistor flowing a current which is obtained through a collector of the transistor as an output current of the comparator. With this arrangement, it is not necessary to provide a current switch circuit for obtaining current output of the comparator circuit.

    摘要: A dc-stabilized power circuit which has a PNP-type output transistor that is connected between input and output terminals, a base-driving circuit for controlling the driving current of the base of the output transistor in response to the difference between a voltage obtained by voltage-dividing the output voltage from the output terminal and a reference voltage that has been preliminarily determined, and a driving-current suppressing circuit for detecting a voltage between the input and output terminals and for suppressing a driving current released by the driving-current supplying means based upon the result of the detection. The greater the input-output voltage, the further the driving-current suppressing circuit suppresses the driving current from the base-driving circuit to the output transistor, thereby suppressing the output current. Thus, in a dc-stabilized power circuit of a low-loss type which has no current-detecting resistor connected in the output line and which is provided with a control circuit that is constructed as an integrated circuit and that supplies a driving current to the base of the output transistor in response to the output voltage, the power loss due to the output transistor is suppressed to not more than a predetermined level; therefore, it is possible to prevent damage to the output transistor beforehand.

    摘要: In an image forming apparatus having a two-face copy mode wherein document images are formed on front and back faces of a paper, a direction of an image such as portrait or landscape in a document is set by a user or according to a document size, while a first margin is also set by a size or a document size for a document image on the front face in a reproduced image on a paper. A second margin for another document image on the back face is determined at a position opposite to the first margin. An image memory stores the digital image data. A rotation angle is set according to the document direction and the margin position, so that normal images can be observed in the front and back faces of a paper if the paper is turned over by fixing it at the margin. Then, the digital image data read from said image memory is rotated by the rotation angle. Then, the digital image data is printed on the front and back faces of a paper. If a 2-in-1 copy mode is provided, the rotation angle is determined similarly except the setting or document direction which is set opposite to that of documents for a synthesized image of two document images.

    摘要: The invention relates to an image reading apparatus for reading images of original documents by moving the original relative to a stationary image reader. A single image reader is used in a first embodiment. When reading the image of a first side, the single image reader is stationary at a first position to read the original. When reading the image of a second side, the single image reader is moved to a second position corresponding to the size of the original, and reads the image of the second side while said image reader is stationary at the second position. The image reading apparatus of the second embodiment uses a stationary first reader for reading a first side of an original, and movable second image reader for reading a second side of an original. The image reading apparatus of the second embodiment changes the positions of the image reader in accordance with the size of the original.
