摘要: An apparatus for detecting and controlling an elevator speed which includes a rotary disc rotated by a motor which moves an elevator cage and including a pulse generator which produces a pulse signal proportional to an elevator speed in cooperation with the rotary disc. The pulse signal is differentiated by a differentiation circuit and the output signal of the differentiation circuit is rectified by a full-wave rectifying circuit with the output signal of the rectifying circuit supplied to a monostable multivibrator. The output signal of the multivibrator is smoothed by a smoothing circuit which thereby produces an analog speed control signal. The multivibrator includes a zener diode operating to decrease the voltage level of the smoothing circuit output should the power source voltage drift. The rotary disc has projecting portions and apertures between the projecting portions all of which are of the same shape and width. The pulse generator detects a ray of light or magnetic flux passing through the apertures in the rotary disc generating the pulse signal during the rotation of the rotary disc.

摘要: A data relay and information processing method including storing in a database section identification information for identifying language-dependent data and replacement data corresponding to the language-dependent data in association with each other, receiving server data from the server system, detecting the replacement data from the database section on the basis of the identification information contained in the server data, replacing the language-dependent data as contained in the server data by the replacement data, and transmitting the server data as replaced to a client system. Thus, even in the case where the language used in the server system providing a service on the Internet is different from the language used in the client system, it is possible to recognize the information from the server by the client with reference to the replacement data.

摘要: A surface-treating composition which is a treating liquid containing no ingredients harmful to the environment; such a treating liquid has been difficult to obtain with any conventional technique. The composition enables a coating film having excellent corrosion resistance after coating to be deposited through surface treatment on a surface of a metallic material, e.g., an iron-based metallic material. The composition, which is for the surface treatment of a metal comprising iron and/or zinc, comprises the following ingredients (A), (B), and (C): (A) a compound containing at least one element selected from the group consisting of titanium, zirconium, hafnium, and silicon; (B) a compound containing yttrium and/or a lanthanide element; and (C) nitric acid and/or a nitric acid compound. In the composition, the ratio of the total mass concentration B of the yttrium and/or lanthanide element in the ingredient (B) to the total mass concentration A of the element(s) in the ingredient (A), K1=B/A, is 0.05≦K1≦50 and the ratio of the total mass concentration C of nitrogen atoms in the ingredient (C) in terms of NO3 concentration to the total mass concentration A, K2=C/A, is 0.01≦K2≦200.
