    Abstract: This application discloses a communication method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a mobility management network element, a registration request message from a terminal, where the registration request message is used to request a vehicle-to-everything V2X configuration parameter for the terminal, and the V2X configuration parameter is used by the terminal to perform a V2X service; sending, by the mobility management network element, a parameter request message to a V2X parameter configuration network element based on the registration request message, where the parameter request message is used to request the V2X configuration parameter of the terminal from the V2X parameter configuration network element; and receiving, by the mobility management network element, the V2X configuration parameter from the V2X parameter configuration network element, and sending the V2X configuration parameter to the terminal. Use of this application helps improve security of the V2X service.

    Abstract: This application discloses example communications methods and apparatuses. One example method includes receiving a first request message from a terminal, where the first request message is used to request information used for PC5 interface-based communication of the terminal. A second request message can be sent to a policy and charging function network element based on the first request message, where the second request message is used to request the information used for the PC5 interface-based communication. A quality of service (QoS) rule used for the PC5 interface-based communication can then be received from the policy and charging function network element. The QoS rule can then be sent to the terminal based on the first request message, where the apparatus is a mobility management network element or located in a mobility management network element.

    Abstract: This application discloses a communications system, a communication method, and an apparatus thereof. The system includes: a multicast session management network element, an access and mobility management network element and a user plane function network element. The multicast session management network element sends a first multicast session request carrying a multicast session context to the access and mobility management network element to request to establish a multicast session based on the multicast session context; and sends a second multicast session request to the user plane function network element, where the second multicast session request carries user plane forwarding-related information indicating a user plane forwarding rule of the multicast session. The access and mobility management network element sends the first multicast session request to an access network node. The user plane function network element sets, based on the user plane forwarding-related information, the user plane forwarding rule of the multicast session.

    Abstract: A communication method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: A common application programming interface framework core function (CCF) network element first sends reference information of an application to a first network element. Therefore, the first network element determines network slice information corresponding to the application; and then the first network element sends the determined network slice information to the CCF network element. The method is: obtaining, by a control plane function (CPF) entity, mobility pattern related information of a terminal; determining, by the CPF entity, a first mobility pattern of the terminal based on the mobility pattern related information of the terminal; and sending, by the CPF entity, the determined first mobility pattern to a radio access network (RAN) node, where the first mobility pattern is used by the RAN node to determine a second mobility pattern of the terminal.

The method performed by a first core network device includes: sending first downlink information to a first RAN node, where the first downlink information is used by the first RAN node to activate a PDU session of a terminal, and the PDU session is in an inactive state; receiving indication information from the first RAN node, where the indication information indicates that the PDU session fails to be activated; and sending second downlink information to a second RAN node based on the indication information, where the second downlink information is used by the second RAN node to activate the PDU session of the terminal.     Abstract: A communication method and device are provided. A terminal device receives a paging message carrying first service information of a first service from an AMF network element, where the paging message corresponds to a first USIM in at least two USIMs of the terminal device; and sends a response message of the paging message to the AMF network element based on the first service information and service information of a second service, where the second service is a current service of a second USIM of the terminal device, and the second USIM is in connected state.     Abstract: A communication method, including, when a terminal device is in an idle mode or an inactive mode, a first control plane functional entity that obtains access network information of the terminal device and sends context information of the terminal device to an access network device corresponding to the access network information. Therefore, when the terminal device is in the idle mode or the inactive mode, the first control plane functional entity obtains the access network information of the terminal device and pre-sends the context information of the terminal device to the access network device corresponding to the access network information. When the terminal device needs to transmit data, the terminal device does not need to wait for the process of transmitting the context information of the terminal device, thereby facilitating reducing a delay.
