摘要: Wireless communications apparatus is provided by which power consumption is much more reduced in a wireless system composed of a base station and wireless terminal stations. The apparatus installed in the base station includes a transmitter/receiver and a controller. The transmitter/receiver compares an RSSI value indicating the received wave strength of a received wireless signal with a preset value periodically at time intervals set in a timer for defining a time to start and stop the controller. When the RSSI value indicates that the received wave strength is higher than the preset value, the controller is made operative, and then the demodulated received data of the received signal are sent to the controller. The controller operates when the preset value is set in the transmitter/receiver, and analyzes the received data when the received wave strength has exceeded the preset value.

摘要: A frequency setting circuit includes a table storing, in an address corresponding to a channel number, a quotient and a remainder calculated by subtracting 1 from the channel number to calculate a difference and dividing the difference by 3 are stored in bits b7 to b3 and bits b1 to b0, respectively. When the channel number is designated by a channel setting unit, a value of the bits b1 to b0 is decoded and given to a selector as a selection signal. A frequency set value of twelve bits of lower-order four digits is selected and output from the selector.

摘要: In order to suppress the effect due to electrons (holes) generated by incident light that cannot be prevented from entering only by means of light shielding, rather than the drain region 34 of a transistor, with respect to a majority carrier, a region 36 whose voltage is set to a value lower than the reference value of product of the voltage of a drain region and Q (unit electric charge) is provided, or a potential barrier is provided around the drain region. In such a configuration, by controlling the voltage of the periphery of the drain region 34 connected to a reflection electrode 30 to be in a floating state, photo carriers generated in the semiconductor substrate are caused to be hardly guided in the drain region 34.

摘要: An object is to be able to correct a shift even when the shift occurs in the light beam incident on a spatial light modulator in an optical information recording apparatus such as a hologram memory system and the like using the spatial light modulator having an area to modulate information beam. Hence, a shift amount detector is provided, which detects a shift of the light beam incident from a first light source on the spatial light modulator (modulator/light sensing device). Based on the shift amount detected by the shift amount detector, a position of the information beam modulating area in the spatial light modulator is shifted from an initial position.

摘要: There are provided a method of properly driving an electron source, in matrix driving in which each signal line and scanning line have large capacitance and are capacitively coupled to disturb each other, without any influence of the disturbance, an electron source using the driving method, an image-forming apparatus, and a method of driving the image-forming apparatus. In an electron source made up of electron-emitting devices each having a gate electrode and cathode electrode, in performing passive matrix driving operation of driving a plurality of signal lines together after selecting a scanning, letting V1off be the OFF voltage of the scanning line and V2on be the ON voltage of a signal line, V1off>V2on−. In addition, V1off−V2on is set to be large enough to prevent a gate/cathode voltage from changing to the ON region during an OFF period even if the voltage changes due a disturbance caused by driving. Letting V1on be the ON voltage of a scanning line and V2off be the OFF voltage of a signal line, V1on>V2off and V1off−V2on>V1on−V2off.
