    摘要: A continuous form printer is provided with two rotary encoders, corresponding to different paper feed intervals, and mounted coaxially on a drive shaft. The drive shaft drives a tractor for feeding the paper. The rotary encoders are read by photo-interruptor sensors, and the sensor signals are selected by a selector. The selector is able to select either one of the sensor signals generated by the encoders, or a signal formed by performing an AND operation on the two sensor signals. A controller controls a motor driving the drive shaft according to the selected signal, the selected signal corresponding to a chosen feeding interval. The controller is further able to precisely adjust the leading edge of the paper to a predetermined position based on the selected sensor signal, a known paper length, and a paper top sensor.

    摘要: An air duct has air passages for the air to flow from the inside to the outside. An air passage switching device includes a rotary door and a film member for opening/closing and switching the air passages. The rotary door is formed with openings in its circumferential wall having an arcuate shape. The film member having ventilation holes to lap one of the openings is mounted with a slight slackness on the outer circumference of the rotary door. When this rotary door is rotationally displaced by a control cable, the air passages lapping the ventilation holes are opened, whereas the remaining air passages are closely sealed up by the film member which is expanded by a wind pressure.

    摘要: In a reference clock signal generator for generating a sampled servo format reference clock signal using a PLL circuit, an unique distance is detected by an output signal of a VCO in a state the PLL circuit is operated based on a clock signal which corresponds to a number of rotations of a disk in generating the reference clock signal. When the unique distance is detected, a dividing ratio of a frequency divider is changed to operate the PLL circuit based on a clock mark detecting signal. The dividing ratio is set so that an oscillation frequency of the VCO becomes constant before and after switching from the clock signal that corresponds to the number of rotations of the disk to the clock mark signal. A count of the frequency divider is preset to zero with the first clock mark signal after the detection of the unique distance and the detection of the clock marks thereafter is carried out based on the count of the frequency divider.

The control unit regulates the moving unit so as not to accelerate but to decelerate the moving unit in the event of a focusing control failure.

A track access device for moving the pickup from a starting track at which the pickup is presently located to a target track includes a moving arrangement for moving the pickup in a direction crossing tracks, a tracking error signal generator for generating an analog signal representing the crossing of the tracks by the pickup, and position detector for detecting the position of the pickup in either one of the recording and ROM areas. Also, for processing the tracking error signal, an amplifier, an offset adder and hysteresis comparator are provided, each having differing operating parameters when the pickup is located in the recording area and then when it is located in the ROM area.

    摘要: In an apparatus in which information is reproduced by projecting/receiving an optical beam to/from a recording carrier having a large number of information tracks, tracking control is performed so as to maintain a reproducing position on an information track by supplying a track deviation signal to an actuator. If this track deviation signal becomes asymmetric by an inclination, etc. of the recording carrier so that a shock is applied to the apparatus, jumping out of a track occurs, resulting in slip-off of the optical beam from the reproducing position. This slip-off can be prevented by detecting a position of a movable support member carrying a focusing lens for projecting and receiving the optical beam and feeding back the position signal to the tracking control system, or by extracting a low-frequency component of an output signal of a control circuit and feeding back the extracted signal to the tracking control system.

    摘要: In an apparatus in which information is reproduced by projecting/receiving an optical beam to/from a recording carrier having a large number of information tracks, tracking control is performed so as to keep a reproducing position on an information track by supplying a track deviation signal to an actuator.
