摘要: A microfilm reader/printer for selecting a desired image from images recorded on a microfilm roll to print the desired image, the images being recorded by the duo photographing system in two channels so that the images recorded in one channel are in the normal orientation while the images recorded in the other channel are in the inverted orientation. Desired images are printed by the microfilm reader/printer always in the normal orientation irrespective of the orientation thereof recorded in either one of the two channels on the duo mode microfilm automatically without the need of manual operation. Channel exchanging means and image rotating means are combined so that orientation of images is inverted every time the channel being retrieved is exchanged so as to display or print desired images in the same orientation. The channel exchanging means may be mechanical or optical means, and the image rotating means may be optical or electronic image processing means. The same object is achieved by the combination of channel exchange position detecting means and an image processor associated with an image sensor.

摘要: A cleaning method for removing unnecessary matter accumulated on a surface on the bottom of a recess so as to clean the surface. An adhesive surface on a projection projected from an elongated base member is brought into contact with the unnecessary matter on the surface to be cleaned and is separated forcibly from the surface to be cleaned by application of tension to the elongated base member, whereby the unnecessary matter is lifted off the recessed surface to be cleaned. Disclosed also is a cleaning cassette for cleaning the bottom surface of a recess by removing unnecessary matter from the surface, having an elongated tape-like base member carrying a plurality of projections each having an adhesive end surface which is adapted to be pressed onto the unnecessary matter accumulated on the surface to be cleaned.

摘要: The characteristic of the present invention is that in a heating resistor portion and a lead member for electrically connecting the resistor portion to an external device, the lead member is composed of a first lead member for supplying a current to the resistor portion and second lead member for measuring a voltage in the resistor. According to an error in heat control due to resistances of a support, welding portion, wire bonding portion, etc. between a terminal of a sensing element and a driving circuit can be eliminated to thereby detect an air flow rate with a high accuracy.

摘要: A microfilm retrieval system includes blip marks provided at transversely opposite side portions of selected image frames of an elongated microfilm, a device for detecting the blip marks, counters for counting the number of blip marks in accordance with kinds of blip marks, respectively, a device for determining a specific combination of the kinds of blip marks when two or more kinds of blip marks are provided to selected the image frames, and a controller for controlling the counters such that the blip marks are counted with a unit of count and a reset value corresponding to the specific combination of marks determined by the determining device. The unit of count and the reset value at the time of counting blip marks can be set to desired numerical values, and counting is effected by making a page number or the like provided on a photographed object coincide with a count value, thereby facilitating retrieval.

摘要: A cassette grounding apparatus includes a plurality of first contacts provided on a cassette casing for accommodating an object to be grounded in such a manner that the contacts are exposed. Each of the first contacts is electrically connected to the object accommodated in the cassette casing. A second contact which is constituted by a spring member is provided on a cassette holder into which the cassette casing is loaded. The second contact is grounded and adapted to contact one of the first contacts on the cassette casing when it is loaded in the cassette holder, thereby grounding the object accommodated in the cassette casing. A third contact which is constituted by a spring member is further provided on the cassette holder. The third contact is connected to means for detecting a contact condition between the first and second contacts, and adapted to contact the other of the first contacts on the cassette casing when it is loaded in the cassette holder.

摘要: An image data recording medium is composed of a transparent leader tape, an opaque magnetic tape and a transparent continuous film which are spliced together successively in that order. It is therefore possible to make discrimination between the starting and terminating ends of the magnetic tape from a change from an opaque portion to a transparent portion and the direction of movement of the recording medium without the need to stick pieces of reflecting paper to the magnetic tape. Further, since the magnetic tape is wound up on a reel after the leader tape has been wound thereon, there is no fear of the magnetic tape being deteriorated due to a step which would otherwise be produced in the wound magnetic tape. Also disclosed is a magnetic tape position determining apparatus which comprises a photosensor disposed in opposing relation to the image data recording medium and position determining means for making discrimination between starting and terminating ends of the magnetic tape on the basis of a change in a signal obtained from the photosensor when the recording medium is moved in its longitudinal direction and the direction of movement of the recording medium. Accordingly, it is possible to make discrimination between the starting and terminating ends of the magnetic tape with a simplified arrangement.

摘要: A method of fixing a frame image which has not been fixed due to burnout of a fixing lamp or a power failure. Such unfixed frame is detected, and the address thereof is stored in memory. When processing is resumed, the address of the unfixed frame is read in order to fix the frame, and thereafter, the address of the unfixed frame is erased. It is therefore possible to fix any unfixed frame reliably and automatically without any fear of the operator forgetting to effect fixing of such unfixed frame. Also disclosed is an apparatus which may suitably be employed to carry out the above-described method.

摘要: A heating resistor type air flow rate measuring apparatus is provided with a couple of heating resistors placed at the positions where those resistors may each interfere thermally with respect to an air flow, and a couple of driving circuits for driving those heating resistors. The air flow rate signal is obtained by calculating the difference between the output signals of a couple of heating resistors in terms of heat radiation rate effected by an air flow, and adding the difference value onto the output signal of one of heating resistors.

摘要: In regard to an output of an intake flow meter for an internal combustion engine, a pulsation error can be reduced and dispersion in correction at the time of correction of response delay (a recovering of response delay) is reduced. A digital device is used for pre-processing of a control unit for inputting a flow rate measuring signal. An output voltage of the flow sensor is converted into a digital value, the digital value is converted into a flow rate and adds a response delay. The control unit detects a degree of response delay in reference to dispersion in a clock signal so as to perform response delay recovering and reduce dispersion of the response delay.
