摘要: An optical coordinate-input system. A plurality of pairs of light-emitting and light-receiving elements are mutually opposed on a two-dimensional input surface and arranged along the X and Y coordinate axes. A driver causes the light-emitting elements to sequentially emit light so as to scan the surface with light beams. A circuit sequentially binarizes signals from the light-receiving elements. When the interruption of the light beams occurs at a portion of the surface, signals from those light-receiving elements corresponding to this portion are also binarized by the circuit. A memory stores the binarized data in the form of units each consisting of a plurality of bits arranged in a sequence corresponding to the arrangement of the light-emitting and light-receiving elements along the X and Y coordinate axes. This writing is controlled so that that data is stored in different addresses. Whenever required, stored data is transmitted, while it is in the same form. Therefore, it is possible to read the necessary data alone at any desired time through simple procedures, thereby increasing the processing speed.

摘要: A device for sequentially feeding a plurality of disk-shaped recording media in an apparatus for performing a data recording or reproducing operation on a rotating disk-shaped recording medium. The device includes loading members, each of which holds one disk-shaped recording medium and each of which is rotatable about a common axis. A swinging mechanism swings a selected one of the loading members about the common axis through a predetermined angle to a feeding position. A lifting apparatus lifts the disk-shaped recording medium selected by the selected one of the loading members into a position at which the data recording or reproducing operation can be performed. A microprocessor controls the operation of the swinging mechanism and the lifting apparatus. In this manner, a plurality of disk-shaped recording media can be sequentially subjected to a data recording or reproducing operation without the intervention of an operator. Further, the disk-shaped recording media can be individually selected for the data recording or reproducing operation in any desired order. The device is particularly suitable for use with a compact disk player, for allowing a plurality of compact disks to be sequentially fed for the data reproducing operation in any desired order.

摘要: According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a low-voltage operation constant-voltage circuit includes a band-gap reference voltage circuit including a resistor-diode series circuit as a main component. A resistor and a diode-connected bipolar transistor are connected in series to create a constant current. It also includes an output circuit connected in parallel to the resistor-diode series circuit and formed so that the same constant current as the current flowing through the resistor-diode series circuit flows. The output circuit includes a diode-connected MOS transistor, and is configured to cancel the positive temperature coefficient of the current flowing through the output circuit by the MOS transistor. With this, a stable output low-voltage of, e.g., about 0.6 V, excellent in temperature characteristics can be obtained regardless of the ambient temperature changes.
