摘要: A device for sequentially feeding a plurality of disk-shaped recording media in an apparatus for performing a data recording or reproducing operation on a rotating disk-shaped recording medium. The device includes loading members, each of which holds one disk-shaped recording medium and each of which is rotatable about a common axis. A swinging mechanism swings a selected one of the loading members about the common axis through a predetermined angle to a feeding position. A lifting apparatus lifts the disk-shaped recording medium selected by the selected one of the loading members into a position at which the data recording or reproducing operation can be performed. A microprocessor controls the operation of the swinging mechanism and the lifting apparatus. In this manner, a plurality of disk-shaped recording media can be sequentially subjected to a data recording or reproducing operation without the intervention of an operator. Further, the disk-shaped recording media can be individually selected for the data recording or reproducing operation in any desired order. The device is particularly suitable for use with a compact disk player, for allowing a plurality of compact disks to be sequentially fed for the data reproducing operation in any desired order.

摘要: An automatic welding line tracing method and apparatus for causing a welding torch to follow the welding line by using a single non-contact-type sensor for detecting the welding line which is continuously reciprocated to traverse the groove of two pieces to be welded. During the reciprocating motion of the sensor, the sensor generates output voltages E.sub.1 and E.sub.2 respectively obtained by detecting the both ends of the groove to obtain E.sub.1 -.delta. and E.sub.2 -.delta. on the basis of the detected voltages E.sub.1, E.sub.2 and a separately established reference voltage .delta., and an output voltage P.sub.S corresponding to the central position of the groove is obtained from E.sub.1 -.delta. and E.sub.2 -.delta. to thereby compare the voltage P.sub.S with a voltage indicative of the central position of the oscillating motion of the sensor to thereby cause the welding torch to follow the welding line in accordance with the difference between these two voltages.

摘要: A manifold device for a fuel cell system comprises a body shell having at least one opening, a closure plate having a protrusive portion and being mounted on the shell to form a manifold box, and a distribution unit arranged in the shell to partition an interior space of the shell into the first and second chambers. The unit comprises a pair of partitioning members and a partitioning plate mounted thereon in a spaced relationship to form slit-like gaps between them. The protrusive portion of the closure plate is provided with slit-like blowholes to supply process gas to a fuel cell stack. The partitioning plate is provided with a distributor and a deflector. The distributor is positioned in front of the opening so as to divide the gas flow from the opening into an upward flow and a downward flow, while the deflector is mounted on the exterior surface of partitioning plate and extends vertically in parallel to a center line of the protrusive portion to allow the process gas to converge to the protrusive portion of the closure plate.
