摘要： A method and apparatus measures the tension of an advancing yarn which is subject to interruptions of the yarn path, resulting for example from the severance of the yarn. During such interruptions, the zero setting of the tension sensor does not always return to zero, thereby providing an erroneous output reading during subsequent yarn advancing cycles. In accordance with the present invention, a circuit is provided which identifies such errors and sounds an alarm when the error exceeds a predetermined limit. Also, the erroneous output signal is input as the zero point signal for the subsequent yarn advancing cycle, and during such subsequent cycle, the tension is determined on the basis of the newly set zero point.

The melt element is pierced by at least one arm of the bow-type spring when an overvoltage occurs for short-circuiting the two contacts of the overvoltage suppressor. A thermal protection device with simple components prevents creepage currents between the bow-type spring and the contacts of the overvoltage suppressor 6, a chamber for the overvoltage suppressor is adjacent and abutting to a separate chamber formed in the case body for accommodating a bow-type spring. Between the two chambers there is a separating wall comprising a thermoplastic melt element.

摘要： The novel urethanes correspond to the formula I below ##STR1## in which a denotes a number from 5 to 17 and b denotes a number from 1 to 7. These urethanes are prepared by reacting the corresponding perfluoroalkylethanol/epichlorohydrin adducts with toluelene diisocyanates. The novel aqueous dispersions are essentially composed of the novel urethanes, cationic or betaine emulsifiers and non-ionic emulsifiers, water-insoluble carboxylic and/or dicarboxylic acid esters and alkanediols or polyalkanediols which can be etherified on one or both sides, in water.The novel urethanes and the novel aqueous dispersions are used to impart an oleophobic and hydrophobic finish to textiles, leather and furs. They are also suitable for the treatment of unpainted timber, for example unpainted furniture.

摘要： The invention relates to a surge-protected cable joint for telecommunication networks, comprising a joint casing closed at either end and having axial cable inlets, and terminal strips for the cable wires secured in the casing interior. In order to permit connection of an increased number of cable wires without increasing the external dimensions while at the same time obtaining a higher resistance to surge currents, the individual terminal strips are disposed within the joint interior in a plurality of double rows arranged in series and each row is fixedly mounted within a trough, thus resulting in a wiring free from crossover points and in an increased number of connections. The receiving troughs (2, 2a) are bolted together in pairs with their bottoms adjacent each other, and are secured to lateral connecting rails (4). These connecting rails (4) in turn are mechanically and electrically coupled via support rails (6) to one of the end walls of the joint casing (1) and via an earth cable to a connecting bolt (5). Furthermore, surge arrester magazines (8) are detachably secured, e.g. by clamping, on the individual terminal strips.

摘要： The invention relates to a connector assembly for cables adapted to transmit signals with pulse-code modulation. The connector assembly may be used with an increased number of twin conductors either as a simple connector strip or as a pressure sealed cable termination device in conjunction with a housing member. At the lower surface of the base plate (1) there is provided a shielding (3) for the contact pins (24, 24') and the cable conductors (9a) fixedly connected thereto, the shielding (3) being formed of a plurality of electrically conductive partition walls (3b).

摘要： To provide for tuning of an oscillator circuit, a plurality of resistors are selectively connectable in the circuit. To provide for reproducible, accurate oscillation frequency in accordance with switching of a respective resistor in dependence on a digital input signal, electronic switches are respectively connected to the resistors to connect them in circuit in the oscillator to thereby eliminate variable contact resistances of mechanical switches. A digital frequency control signal is generated by placing a movable mask or pattern with openings therein between an array, for example a linear strip of light emitting diodes, and a similar strip of photo transistors, the respective energization of which is determined by openings in the diaphragm. The signals from the photo transistors are stored in a memory, typically a group of flip-flops, for application to the electronic switches controlling connection of the respective resistors in the oscillator circuit.
