In addition, the scroll member (39) compresses fluid with forming a fluid pocket between the spiral elements by performing swing motion that is prevented from relatively rotating to a counterpart of scroll member having a spiral element meshing with the spiral element (43) and a base plate facing to the base plate (41). A chamfered section (149) is formed in a bare surface on the base plate surface (141) on an extension line (89) of an inner wall surface's spiral end of this spiral element (43) wall surface so that a distance from the extension line of the spiral end toward the center may be within a range less than the thickness of a spiral element's wall of the counterpart of scroll member.

    摘要: A scroll-type fluid displacement apparatus comprises a housing having an inlet port and outlet port and is made of non-ferrous metal. The housing has a first casing and second casing that is connected to the first casing. A fixed scroll is fixedly disposed within the housing and has a first circular end plate from which a first spiral element entered into the housing. An orbiting scroll has a pair of parallel first grooves formed on a second circular end plate. A second spiral element extends from the second circular end plate such that the first spiral element interfits the second spiral element at an angular and radial offset to make a plurality of line contacts to define a pair of fluid pockets within the housing. A driving mechanism is connected to the orbiting scroll to effect orbital motion of the orbiting scroll. An Oldham ring is coupled to the orbiting scroll for preventing rotation of the orbiting scroll during orbital motion. The Oldham ring has a pair of first key portions and a pair of second key portions. The second key portions are perpendicular to the pair of first key portions. The first key portions engage the parallel first grooves on the second circular end plate. A supporting plate member is disposed between the housing and the orbiting scroll to support the thrust load of the orbiting scroll. The supporting plate member, which is made of ferrous metal, has a pair of grooves formed on one end surface for engaging the second key portions of the Oldham ring.

The Oldham ring comprises a plurality of keys (26a, 26b). The front end plate and the movable scroll member have housing keyways (4a) and scroll keyways (15a), respectively, formed therein, for receiving the keys. A pair of semi-circular members (40a) are assembled to form a ring member on at least one of the front end plate and the movable scroll member and receives a thrust load acting on the movable scroll member. The semi-circular member has ends bent to form bent sections (40b). The bent sections are inserted into the housing keyway or the scroll keyway. The key is within the housing keyway or the scroll keyway when the bent section is within the keyway to receive sliding of the key.

    摘要: A chuck for clamping a discoid portion of a work piece includes a base, at least two fixed clamps secured on a front end surface of the base, a movable clamp adjacent to the front end surface of the base and a pin secured to the front end surface of the base. The pin is adapted to fit in a hole formed in the discoid when the discoid is mounted on the chuck wherein the hole has a larger diameter than the pin. Furthermore, the pin is positioned radially inwardly of the movable clamp toward the chuck center and oriented so that the two fixed clamps are equiangularly spaced about and equidistantly spaced from the pin. As a result, the discoid may move relative to the pin and toward the two fixed clamps, without rotation thereof. Accordingly, the centroidal axis of the discoid may be aligned with the rotational axis of the chuck so that precision machining may be achieved.
