摘要: A method for transmitting data packets in a communication network using a plurality of radio frequency channels, at least two of the radio frequency channels being concatenated to form a concatenated channel. The method includes: acquiring and reserving at least one of the channels from the concatenated channel, thus reserving a first frequency band for transmitting data packets to a first target device; acquiring and reserving channels from the concatenated channel that were unreserved during the first step of acquisition and reservation, thus reserving a second frequency band for transmitting data packets to a second target device; generating a preamble specific to a selected data packet, which includes a simultaneous transmission indicator on the first and second frequency bands; and simultaneously transmitting the data packets on the first and second frequency bands, from the selected packet and the specific preamble, before the selected packet on the second frequency band.

The processing circuitry is further configured to encode, for transmission to the non-AP MLD, a response to the request to enable the first AP. An apparatus of a non-AP MLD is similarly configured.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for ultra-low latency out-of-band radios are disclosed. Apparatuses of a station (STA) are disclosed, where the apparatuses comprise processing circuitry configured to associate with an access point (AP) on a first channel using a first transmit power, encode a physical (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) for transmission on a second channel, and configure the STA to transmit the PPDU on the second channel with a second transmit power, wherein a bandwidth of the first channel is less than the bandwidth of the second channel and wherein the first transmit power is greater than the second transmit power. The second channel may be punctured based on overlapping basic service sets (BSS) (OBSSs) signal strengths. The use of the second channel is restricted for communications related to low-latency applications. The transmit power on the second channel is reduced to lower the interference with OBSSs.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to multi-link device (MLD) device resetup and transition. A device may perform an initial association with a first transition peer. The device may initiate a fast multi-link device (MLD) transition from the first transition peer to a second transition peer, wherein the MLD is configured to use authentication keys, and wherein at least one of the first transition peer or the second transition peer it is an access point (AP) MLD having a plurality of links associated with a plurality of APs within the AP MLD. The device may include an MLD link identification (ID) within a fast basic service set transition element (FTE) of a reassociation request or reassociation response frame, wherein the MLD link ID identifies an individual link of the plurality of links. The device may perform a second association with the second transition peer.

摘要: A non-AP STA of a multi-link device (STA MLD) may be configured to encode a multi-link (ML) probe request frame for transmission to an access point STA (AP) of an AP MLD comprising a plurality of affiliated APs. When the probe request frame is sent outside the context of active scanning, to discover an AP of the AP MLD the ML probe request frame may be encoded to have an Address 1 field set to a broadcast address and an Address 3 field set to a BSSID of the AP, or encoded to have the Address 1 field set to a basic service set identity (BSSID) of the AP's BS. The non-AP STA may refrain from transmitting the ML probe request frame to the AP of the AP MLD in a corresponding link when another non-AP STA of the AP MLD has already received a ML probe response that included complete information from any one of the APs of the AP MLD in any link.
