摘要: In general, in a first aspect, the invention features a method that includes forming a first layer comprising a first material over a surface of a second layer, wherein forming the first layer includes sequentially forming a plurality of monolayers of the second material over the surface of the second layer, the second layer comprises a plurality of rows of a second material extending along a first direction and spaced from one another in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and the first layer conforms to the surface of the second layer. The method further includes removing portions of the first layer to produce a plurality of rows of the first material extending along the first direction and spaced from one another in the second direction and removing portions of a third layer comprising a third material, where the portions correspond to intervals between the second plurality of rows so that removing the portions forms a plurality of rows of the third material extending along the first direction and spaced apart from one another. The first and second materials are different.

摘要: A hard disk drive or other storage device comprises a storage medium, a read head configured to read data from the storage medium, and control circuitry coupled to the read head and configured to process data received from the read head. The control circuitry comprises read channel circuitry that includes a low-density parity check decoder or other type of decoder.Power management circuitry associated with the read channel circuitry is configured to detect a power control condition of the read channel circuitry and to control insertion of idle clock cycles in a clock signal supplied to the decoder responsive to the detected power control condition. For example, the read channel circuitry may comprise a clock generator configured to gate the clock signal responsive to a control signal from the power management circuitry.

摘要: Various embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for data processing. As an example, a data processing circuit is disclosed that includes a media defect detector circuit. The media defect detector circuit is operable to compare a data input derived from a medium against at least a first defect level to yield a first level output, and a second defect level to yield a second level output; and provide a combination of the first level output and the second level output as a defect quality output. A value of the defect quality output corresponds to a likelihood of a defect of the medium.

摘要: A project management server automatically monitors the progress of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project represented by developing business configuration content for the ERP system. The project management server maintains a set of data representing a previous status of the development of business configuration content for the ERP system. The project management server requests a new set of data from the ERP system. The new set of data represents the current status of the development of business configuration content for the ERP system. The project management server automatically compares the two sets of data to determine the progress of the ERP project, generates a report showing the progress and updates the old set of data with the new set of data.
