    摘要: An MVA-LCD panel, including an active component array substrate, an opposite substrate and a liquid crystal layer disposed between is provided. The active component array substrate includes scan lines, data lines, control lines and pixel units. Each of the pixel units includes an active component, a domain division electrode (DDE) and a pixel electrode. The active component is electrically connected with the corresponding scan line and the corresponding data line, the DDE being electrically connected with the corresponding control line, the pixel electrode being electrically connected with the active component. The pixel electrode has first slits, and the first DDE are disposed under the first slits. The opposite substrate has a common electrode layer facing toward the active component array substrate. The common electrode layer includes second slits and at least a part of the second slits is disposed over the first domain division electrode.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel including a first substrate, a plurality of scan lines, a plurality of data lines, a plurality of pixel structures, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer is provided. The scan lines, data lines, and pixel structures are disposed on the first substrate. The pixel structures are electrically connected to the corresponding scan lines and data lines. The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the first and the second substrates. Each pixel structure includes a first active device, a first pixel electrode electrically connected to the first active device, and a second pixel electrode. A V-shaped main slit formed between the first and the second pixel electrodes has a tip and two branches connected thereto. The tip of the V-shaped main slit directs towards the second pixel electrode. The edges of the first and the second pixel electrodes adjoining each branch are substantially parallel.

    摘要: A pixel structure disposed on a substrate is provided. The pixel structure includes a first and a second capacitor electrode, a dielectric layer, a passivation layer, a pixel electrode, and an active device. The first capacitor electrode is disposed on the substrate and has a first notch. The dielectric layer covers the first capacitor electrode, and the second capacitor electrode is disposed on the dielectric layer above the first capacitor electrode. The passivation layer is disposed on the dielectric layer to cover the second capacitor electrode, and the passivation layer has a contact opening above the first notch for exposing a part of the second capacitor electrode. The pixel electrode is disposed on the passivation layer and is electrically connected to the second capacitor electrode through the contact opening. The active device is electrically connected to the pixel electrode. Additionally, a method for repairing the pixel structure is also provided.

    摘要: A liquid-crystal display wherein each color sub-pixel is divided into at least a first region and a second region, each region having a pair of electrodes and a storage capacitor. The lower electrode in each region is connected to the same gate line via a different TFT. The upper electrode in each region is connected to a different common line to receive a different voltage signal. Each of the voltage signals comprises a common component and a different signal component. The different signal components are periodical in a “swing” fashion. These signals are in-sync with each other but with different polarity. When the sub-pixel is divided into three regions, the voltage signal in the third common line is equal to the common component. When suitable swing signals in positive frames and negative frames are applied to the regions in sub-pixels, different pixel inversion effects can be achieved.
