    Abstract: A vehicular control system includes a forward-sensing sensor and a forward-viewing camera disposed at a vehicle. The forward-sensing sensor includes a forward antenna array that emits a radio frequency (RF) beam at least forward of the vehicle. The forward antenna array includes a plurality of antennas. An electronic control unit (ECU) includes an image processor operable to process image data captured by the forward-viewing camera. The vehicular control system, responsive at least in part to processing by the image processor of image data captured by the forward-viewing camera, determines a driving condition at the vehicle. The vehicular control system dynamically controls the RF beam emitted by the forward antenna array of the forward-sensing sensor based at least in part on the determined driving condition.

    Abstract: A vehicular control system includes a camera, a non-vision sensor and a control having at least one data processor. The camera is disposed at a vehicle and views at least forward of the vehicle. The non-vision sensor is disposed at the vehicle and senses at least forward of the vehicle. The control, responsive at least in part to processing at the control of captured image data and captured sensor data, determines a fault of the camera or of the non-vision sensor. Responsive to determination of the fault of the camera or of the non-vision sensor, the control wirelessly communicates an alert to a remote processor that is located remote from the vehicle and that is not part of the vehicle. Responsive to receipt of the communicated alert, the remote processor at least in part assumes control of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicular driving assist system includes an electronic control unit (ECU). When the equipped vehicle is driving in the autonomous mode, driving of the vehicle is controlled by the ECU without human intervention. When the vehicle is being driven in a non-autonomous mode, a particular driver at least partially drives the vehicle. The vehicular driving assist system learns a driving style of the particular driver and, when the vehicle is being driven in the non-autonomous mode by the particular driver, the system restricts learning of the driving style of the particular driver responsive to determination by the system that the particular driver is (i) driving the vehicle erratically and/or (ii) performing an illegal driving maneuver. When the vehicle is driving in the autonomous mode, and responsive to the particular driver being present in the vehicle, the vehicle drives in accordance with the learned driving style of the particular driver.

    Abstract: A vehicular communication system includes a communication device in a vehicle. Responsive to the communication device receiving an input from a vehicle system indicative of a service need, the communication device requests an input from the driver of the vehicle pertaining to a desired characteristic of a service provider that can address the service need. Responsive to the communication device receiving the input from the driver, the vehicular communication system determines a plurality of service providers that (i) can address the service need and (ii) has the desired characteristic. The communication device communicates a list of the determined service providers to the driver and, responsive to the driver selecting a service provider from the list, the vehicular communication system sets a navigation system of the vehicle to navigate to the selected service provider.

    Abstract: A driving assistance system for a vehicle includes a control operable to control the vehicle in an autonomous or semi-autonomous mode. When operating in the autonomous mode, driving of the vehicle is controlled by the control without human intervention and, when operating in the semi-autonomous mode, an occupant of the vehicle at least partially drives the vehicle. The control learns a driving style of a particular occupant when the vehicle is being driven by that particular occupant and when the control is operating in the semi-autonomous mode. The control, when operating in the autonomous mode, controls the vehicle in accordance with the learned driving style of the particular occupant of the vehicle. Responsive to a determination of a characteristic of an occupant in the vehicle, the control, when operating in the autonomous, may adjust control of the vehicle irrespective of the learned driving style of the particular occupant.

    Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a vehicle camera docking station disposed at a vehicle, a trailer camera docking station disposed at a rear of a trailer, and a camera operable to capture image data and to communicate captured image data to a data receiving device at the vehicle. When the trailer is not hitched to the vehicle, the camera is disposed at the vehicle camera docking station so as to have a field of view rearward of the vehicle. When the trailer is hitched to the vehicle, the camera is removed from the vehicle camera docking station and disposed at the trailer camera docking station so as to have a field of view rearward of the trailer. The camera captures image data and communicates captured image data to the data receiving device, which receives the communicated image data. A display device displays video images derived from the received image data.

    Abstract: A control system for a vehicle includes a camera module having a plurality of cameras. A control is operable to adjust a field of view of the cameras responsive to an input. When the vehicle is traveling in and along a traffic lane, the control sets the field of view of at least some of the cameras forward through the vehicle windshield. Responsive to an input indicative of an intended lane change, the control adjusts at least one camera to set the field of view of the camera toward an exterior rearview mirror at the side of the vehicle at which the target lane is located. Responsive to determination, via processing of captured image data when the camera views the exterior rearview mirror of the vehicle, that the target lane is clear, the control controls the at least one vehicle control system to maneuver the vehicle into the target lane.

    Abstract: A method for providing vehicular parking assistance includes providing a plurality of sensors at a parking facility that has a plurality of parking spaces, capturing data via the plurality of sensors, and providing captured data to a control of a parking assist system. Responsive to processing at the control of the provided captured data, a communication system of the parking assist system wirelessly communicates information pertaining to available parking spaces at the parking facility. A vehicle-based communication system of a vehicle receives the wirelessly communicated information, and a target available parking space at the parking facility is selected at the vehicle. Responsive to selection at the vehicle of the target available parking space, the vehicle-based communication system of the vehicle wirelessly communicates to the parking assist system a signal reserving for the vehicle the selected target available parking space.
