    摘要： A dust container includes a container body, an inlet, a dust detector, and a dust-conveying unit. The dust-conveying unit conveys the dust from the inlet to the interior of the container body. The dust-conveying unit includes a plurality of conveying members that are arranged at different positions in the dust conveying unit. A direction in which the dust is conveyed and an amount of the dust conveyed by at least one of the conveying members is different from those of the other conveying members. As the dust accumulates in the container body, the dust detector detects whether the container body is substantially full with the dust.

    摘要： Polycarbonates are prepared by inducing the melt polycondensation of an aromatic dihydroxy compound and a diester carbonate in the presence of alkali metal compounds and/or alkaline earth metal compound droxy and adding to the polycarbonate which is the reaction product thereof: a sulfonic acid compound having the formula ##STR1## in an amount of 0.05-10 ppm, based on the polycarbonate, an epoxy compound in an amount of 1-2000 ppm, based on the polycarbonate and a phosphorus compound in an amount of 10-1000 ppm, based on the polycarbonate.

    摘要： A process for preparing polycarbonates according to the invention by melt polycondensation of aromatic dihydroxy compounds and carbonic acid diesters, is characterized by using an aromatic dihydroxy compound and a carbonic acid diester, wherein the combined content of hydrolyzable chlorine in those monomers falls within the particular range. Another process for preparing polycarbonates according to the invention by melt polycondensation of aromatic dihydroxy compounds and carbonic acid diesters, is characterized by using a catalyst comprising (a) a nitrogen containing basic compound and (b) aromatic dihydroxy compound of an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal compound, or (a) and (b) and (c) boric acid or boric ester.
