摘要: In base station side equipment, a control channel for transmitting control information and a communication channel for transmitting information to each mobile station are spread with different synchronizing codes before being superposed by operating a switch to switch the output of an adder over to the output of a synchronizing code generator. Further, a synchronizing code is periodically inserted in a signal by one symbol length and the signal is transmitted over the superposed channel. In a plurality of base station side equipment, moreover, the synchronizing code and its transmission period are equal and the transmission timing is asynchronous and independent. A synchronizing correlator in mobile station side equipment obtains the correlation value of the whole chip phase in a synchronizing code transmission period using the synchronizing code and decides a base station which is transmitting the synchronizing code at the greatest correlating peak position to the closest one and further extracts symbol timing from the peak position.

摘要: A sliding current collector comprises a pair of sliding members which are slidable relative to each other for supply and reception of current through sliding surfaces of the paired sliding members wherein the two sliding members are made of conductive ceramics, and the sliding surface of each of the sliding members has a film surface made of a soft conductive material which is softer than the conductive ceramics so that the sliding current collector can suppress variations in contact voltage drop across the sliding surfaces.

摘要: An electric rotary machine is provided with a stator having a stator core of laminated iron plates with a given lamination thickness in an axial direction of the machine and a stator winding wound around the core and a rotor rotatably disposed inside the stator, having a rotor core and a rotor winding. The axial length of the stator core is selected with respect to that of the rotor core in such a way that, when the rotor is thermally extended, the end of the rotor core never extends beyond the end of the stator core. With such a constructional arrangement, there is eliminated an excessive temperature rise at the ends of the stator core, and prevented an insulation deterioration of the stator winding and the burning of the stator core.

摘要: A plurality of salient poles and a stator are adapted to be cooled only by cooling gas which is passed through a plurality of fluid passageways formed in a yoke of a rotor. By the arrangement that all the cooling gas discharged through the fluid passageways is used for cooling the rotor and the stator, cooling efficiency can be increased due to enhanced flow characteristics of the cooling gas.

摘要: An X-ray imaging apparatus acquiring a differential phase contrast image of a test object without using a light-shielding mask for X-ray. The apparatus includes an X-ray source, a splitting element configured to spatially divide an X-ray emitted from an X-ray source and a scintillator configured to emit light when a divided X-ray beam divided at the splitting element is incident on the scintillator. The apparatus also includes a light-transmission limiting unit configured to limit transmitting amount of the light emitted from the scintillator and a plurality of light detectors each configured to detect the amount of light that has transmitted through the light-transmission limiting unit. The light-transmission limiting unit is configured such that a light intensity detected at each of the light detectors changes in response to a change in an incident position of the X-ray beam.
