    摘要： A toy adapted to be twirled on the finger of a user. The toy has a manipulating ring adapted to encircle the finger of the user of the toy, a connector extending from the manipulating ring for a selected distance, a substantially ring-shaped pedestal holder connected to the connector at a point remote from the primary manipulating ring, and a substantially spherical pedestal attached to the pedestal holder at a point substantially facing the manipulating ring. A balancing mass is adapted to balance on the pedestal, and a retaining loop is fastened to the balancing mass and looped through the pedestal holder, whereby the balancing mass is prevented from falling free from the toy when it is not balanced on the pedestal. A user places the balancing mass on the pedestal and twirls the toy without disturbing the balancing mass, which is held in place by centrifugal force.

    摘要： A retractable boat awning or “bimini cover” is provided. The present retractable boat awning may replace existing awnings on a boat or may be added to a boat which lacks an awning. The present retractable boat awning has a first folding locking bar and a second folding locking bar which are concealed within a slim securing container when the device is not in use. To use the awning, the first and the second locking bar are rotated outward from the interior of the securing container and secure a protective awning fabric cover. The awning may be fully assembled into the usable form or may be collapsed into the stored securing container in around a minute.

    摘要： Methods and systems for a photonic interposer are disclosed and may include receiving one or more continuous wave (CW) optical signals in a silicon photonic interposer from an external optical source, either from an optical source assembly or from optical fibers coupled to the silicon photonic interposer. The received CW optical signals may be processed based on electrical signals received from the electronics die. The modulated optical signals may be received in the silicon photonic interposer from optical fibers coupled to the silicon photonic interposer. Electrical signals may be generated in the silicon photonic interposer based on the received modulated optical signals, and may then be communicated to the electronics die via copper pillars. Optical signals may be communicated into and/or out of the silicon photonic interposer utilizing grating couplers. The electronics die may comprise one or more of: a processor core, a switch core, or router.

The instruments include, for example, a retractor assembly with at least one retractor blade that may be releasably coupled to a bone anchors via a hoop shim. The hoop shim includes a shim portion that may slidably engage the retractor blade and a hoop portion extending from the shim portion that includes an aperture that receives the bone anchor. The hoop portion may have an unlocked configuration that allows passage of the bone anchor and a locked position which prevents passage of the bone anchor to releasably couple the hoop shim to the bone anchor. The hoop shim may be configured to couple to the bone anchor such that the hoop shim may angulate relative to the bone anchor.
