摘要: An electro-developing type still video camera which uses an electro-developing recording medium, has an image-sensor which optically and electronically senses a developed image as a single-frame of image data from the medium. Also included is a memory device having a plurality of data-storage sections, in one of which the single-frame of image data can be stored whenever the developed image of the medium is sensed. A first image-data transferring device transfers a single-frame of image data from a selected one of the sections of the memory device to an external processing device when such a single-frame of image data is stored in the selected section. A second image-data transferring device transfers a single-frame of image data sensed by the image-reader to the external processing device when a single-frame of image data is not stored in the selected section.

摘要: An electro-developing type camera uses an electro-developing recording medium, and has a determiner for determining whether the electro-developing recording medium has been recorded on or not when being loaded in the camera, and a selector for selecting one of a photographing mode and an image-reading mode as an operation mode of the camera. A photographing operation is executed in the photographing mode to record and develop an optical image in the electro-developing recording medium. An image-reading operation is executed in the image-reading mode to read the developed image of the electro-developing recording medium. The photographing mode is selected by the selector when the determiner determines that the electro-developing recording medium has not been recorded, and the image-reading mode is selected by the selector when the determiner determines that the electro-developing recording medium has been recorded.

摘要: A liquid crystal device is constituted by a pair of substrates each having thereon at least an electrode and an alignment control layer, and a liquid crystal composition disposed between the substrates. At least one of the alignment control layers has a thickness of at most 200 .ANG. or comprises polyimide. In the latter case, the pair of substrates have been subjected to mutually different aligning treatments. The liquid crystal composition comprises at least one species of a fluorine-containing mesomorphic compound in an amount of at least 70 wt. % comprising a fluorocarbon terminal portion and a hydrocarbon terminal portion, the terminal portions being connected with a central core, and having smectic mesophase or latent smectic mesophase, and comprises at least one species of a resistivity-modifying substance. The fluorine-containing mesomorphic compound comprises a compound having a fluorocarbon terminal portion containing at least one catenary ether oxygen atom in an amount of at least 30 wt. % based on the liquid crystal composition. The liquid crystal device is effective in improving switching characteristics, an alignment characteristic and display performances while retaining a bookshelf structure or a near bookshelf structure with respect to a smectic layer structure.

摘要: A developing operation control device using an electro-developing recording medium on which an image is developed while an electric voltage is applied thereto. With starting the voltage application to the electro-developing medium, a voltage applied to a liquid crystal display included in the electro-developing recording medium is increased. When a predetermined time has passed since the voltage application to the electro-developing recording medium is started, an exposure onto the electro-developing recording medium is started. By starting the exposure, a bright portion occurs on the electro-developing recording medium, and the voltage applied to the bright portion of the liquid crystal display is quickly raised in comparison with a dark portion. The voltage application to the electro-developing recording medium is stopped at a predetermined timing.

摘要: A still video device in which image signals corresponding to one frame are divided into a plurality of parts. The divided image signals are stored in memory recording areas. The divided image signals are time-expanded to be recorded in a magnetic disk, and further, the divided image signals may be time-expanded and subsampled to be recorded in the magnetic disk. Due to this time-expansion or subsampling, the bandwidth of the image signals recorded in the magnetic disk is narrower than image signals inputted to the still video device. Namely, image signals having a bandwidth broader than that of the inputted image signals can be recorded in the magnetic disk.

摘要: A first reference signal having a predetermined frequency is added to a video signal for a predetermined period of time. A second reference signal is further added to the video signal such that it delimits a starting point and length of the video information. The video signal, with the added reference signals, is recorded on a recording medium, such as a magnetic disk rotated by a spindle motor. The recorded video signal with the added reference signals is reproduced from the recording medium, and the first reference signal is extracted from the video signal. The video signal is stored in a memory using the timing characteristics of the extracted first reference signal, and stored over a time period which is based upon the second reference signal. The stored video signal is then read from the memory using a known clock rate. The first reference signal extracted from the reproduced video signal contains jitter information representative of speed fluctuations of the spindle motor. Thus, the jitter of the video signal is eliminated when the video signal is stored in the memory on the basis of the timing characteristics of the first reference signal.

摘要: A microprocessor, comprising a register 18 for setting either a first mode in which a trap instruction is not executed, or a second mode in which the trap instruction can be executed is set, wherein an instruction decoding circuit 23, in case of operating in the first mode, outputs an internal signal SG1 directing execution of a subroutine call, when decoding a subroutine call instruction, to an instruction executing unit 14, and in case of operating in the second mode, outputs the internal signal SG1 directing execution of a trap when decoding the subroutine call instruction, to the instruction executing unit 14. By such a configuration, a break can be effected in a unit of subroutine under a simple control when debugging the program, and by enabling the breaking without decoding a program to be debugged, the debugging can be effected efficiently under a real time environment.
