    摘要: Techniques for controlling the operation of user equipments (UEs) to mitigate emissions out of band are described. A base station may identify a UE potentially causing excessive emissions out of band due to transmission of control information and may schedule the UE to reduce the emissions out of band. In one design, the base station may schedule the UE to send control information on a Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) instead of a Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH). In another design, the base station may assign the UE with resources for the PUCCH to send control information. The assigned resources may be selected to mitigate the emissions out of band and may be (i) located within a target frequency range, (ii) located away from a frequency band to be mitigated with the emissions out of band, or (iii) obtained with a reuse scheme and have less inter-cell interference from other UEs.

Selection of an uplink carrier for random access can be randomly selected from a set of available uplink carriers. Further, the uplink carrier for random access can be identified based upon a bandwidth related to the user equipment (UE). Reference signals can also be employed in order to identify an uplink carrier to perform random access.

    摘要: Techniques for assigning acknowledgement (ACK) resource to a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system are described. In one design, a first parameter indicative of radio resources (e.g., the lowest index of at least one physical resource block) allocated to the UE for data transmission may be obtained. A second parameter indicative of another resource (e.g., a cyclic shift of a reference signal sequence) assigned to the UE for data transmission may also be obtained. The first and/or second parameter may be restricted, and each restricted parameter may be limited to a set of allowed values among all available values for the parameter. ACK resource assigned to the UE for data transmission may be determined based on the first and second parameters. In one design, sequential first parameter values may be mapped to sequential ACK resources indices. In another design, mirror mapping with different mapping directions may be used for different allowed values of the second parameter.

The first control information includes instructions for configuring the user equipment with closed-loop transmit antenna selection on one of a plurality of component carriers, and the second control information includes instructions for configuring the UE with open-loop transmit antenna selection on at least one other of the plurality of the component carriers. Also, the UE may transmit an indication of its capability for transmission antenna switching per component carrier. Further, a reconfiguration scheme to assure at least one of two or more second messages are recognizable by the UE during a transition period after transmission of the first message is implemented. In another example, a UE and eNB may be equipped to respectively transmit and receive a first message to reconfigure a SRS mode used by a UE. In such an aspect the first message may respectively indicate and be used to determine an SRS transmission port specified in a field capable of indicating a number of SRS transmission ports that is greater than a number of physical UE antenna ports.

    摘要: Power adjustment in the user equipment (UE) includes adjusting the transmission power level for each of multiple transport blocks based on the spectral efficiency associated with the transport block. The UE receives a scheduled transport format parameter for each of multiple transport blocks to be transmitted. Based on those scheduled transport format parameters, the UE determines a transmit power level adjustment for each transport block. The UE will adjust the power according to the determined transmit power level adjustment and transmit each transport block using the adjusted power level.
