    摘要: A color laser printer is provided with a first exhaust duct for exhausting ozone generated by a charging unit etc. inside a housing to the outside of the housing. The first exhaust duct is therein provided with a catalytic honeycomb filter for ozone gas treatment and an ion emitting unit for emitting negative ions into an atmosphere. Most of an ozone gas component is decomposed and/or absorbed by the catalytic honeycomb filter for ozone gas treatment. Furthermore, the residual ozone gas component is decomposed by the negative ions generated by the ion emitting unit. This arrangement makes it possible to provide a new ozone removal device which is different from an ozone decomposing filter or a heat source.

    摘要: A plasma display panel in which a plurality of pairs of display electrodes extending in a row direction are aligned on a surface of a first substrate, a plurality of address electrodes extending in a column direction are disposed in a stripe pattern on a surface of a second substrate, the first and second substrates are disposed opposite each other so that the pairs of display electrodes and the address electrodes cross over sandwiching discharge space therebetween, and a discharge cell is formed corresponding to each crossover portion. The pairs of display electrodes are composed of a metallic material, each display electrode of each pair of display electrodes includes a base part extending in the row direction and a plurality of opposing parts extending from the base part into a discharge interval between the each pair of display electrodes. In each discharge cell, at least two discharge starting gaps are formed, each discharge starting gap existing between opposing parts that respectively belong each of the pair display electrodes and being at least partially over the address electrode. Discharge space exists between the each discharge starting gap and the address electrode, and peaks in electric field intensity are formed at each of the opposing parts.

    摘要: A development apparatus according to an embodiment comprises a development tank which accommodates developer containing toner and carrier, an agitating screw which agitates and transports the developer in the development tank, and a development roller which is provided close to or in contact with a photosensitive body and visualizes an electrostatic latent image on the photosensitive body. The toner and the carrier are externally replenished to the development tank, and excess developer in the development tank is discharged through a developer discharge outlet to outside of the development container. In the development container, the development apparatus further comprises a flow regulating member for regulating a flow of the developer. The flow regulating member is provided facing the developer discharge outlet and extending vertically upward with respect to a bottom plane of the development tank.
