摘要: An exhaust system includes a tubular inner shell for passing therethrough exhaust gases from a combustion engine, and a tubular outer shell enclosing the tubular inner shell and cooperating therewith to define a sound silencing chamber into which the exhaust gases are introduced. The tubular inner shell forms an inner peripheral wall of the sound silencing chamber, and an upstream portion of the inner peripheral wall is formed with a perforated wall area having a plurality of communicating perforations for communicating between an interior of the tubular inner shell and the sound silencing chamber, and a downstream portion of the inner peripheral wall has a non-perforated wall area having no communicating perforation defined therein.

摘要: Manufacturing method enabling optimal volume oil-fill even where differing from bearing to bearing due to machining fluctuations in volume-production dynamic pressure bearings. In a first charging method, injection of oil is divided into two cycles. The first is carried out under reduced pressure, following which the pressure is raised a predetermined amount to force the oil into the bearing gap. The oil-fill status is thereupon checked, the shortage is reckoned, and in the second cycle the shortage is injected. In a second charging method, in a first cycle a surplus volume is injected under reduced pressure and the pressure is raised a predetermined amount to force the oil into the bearing gap. Following that, what is in excess of the appropriate amount is removed from the bearing. The first cycle of injection and the pressure elevation may be implemented multiple times, in between which repeat pressure-reduction can be carried out.

摘要: A parts-mass compressing device includes a base stand having a table structure on which a mass of vertically standing raised workpieces are disposed. A stopper plate is fixed to one end of said table structure and a moving plate is movable toward and away from said stopper plate. Movement of the moving plate toward said stopper plate compresses the mass. A toggle mechanism drives the moving plate and has first and second toggle links which are pivotally connected at their inner ends. The inner ends are connected to a power cylinder.

摘要: In an electric power switch circuit with an overcurrent or overheating protection function, unnecessary ON-OFF cycling is prevented. A MOSFET is used as an electric power element for energizing a load according to a control signal. A temperature detector detects the temperature in the neighborhood of the MOSFET, and a control unit opens a switch, interrupting input of the control signal to the MOSPET when the temperature detected by the temperature detecting means is higher than the predetermined temperature. An interruption status retaining device maintains the interruption of the control signal, preventing repetitive ON-OFF cycling.

摘要: The invention provide an adjustable steering mechanism for a watercraft. The watercraft has a hull including a main body, an upper wall engaging the hull and cooperating therewith to define an engine compartment for housing an engine. The engine has an output shaft arranged to drive a water propulsion device of the watercraft The upper wall has a top surface and a bottom surface. The bottom surface facing forwardly towards engine compartment. A first steering means extends through the upper wall and is in communication with a steering mechanism of the watercraft. The first steering means also coupled to a steering shaft and handle. The steering shaft and handle are journalled for rotation about a first axis with respect to a rotation member. The rotation member being rotatably affixed to the top side of the upper wall opposite the engine compartment thereby allowing the rotation of the rotation member and the steering shaft and handle in a forward and rearward direction about a second axis generally perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the watercraft and the first axis and whereby the steering shaft and handle is independently rotatable with respect to the rotation member about the first axis.
