Abstract: A method for selecting between a first battery cell and a second battery cells includes sensing a total generated heat flow rate emitted by the first battery cell and the second battery cells. The method further includes recording, for the first and second battery cells, first and second sets of heat flow rate data related to the total generated heat flow rate emitted by the first and second battery cells, respectively, over their first charge. The method further includes comparing the first set of heat flow rate data with the second set of heat flow rate data, and selecting one of the first or second battery cells according to the comparison between the first set of heat flow rate data with the second set of heat flow rate data.

Abstract: A process is provided for welding an assembly of a first tubular component and a second tubular component, the first and second tubular components having first and second cylindrical portions, respectively. The process uses a pressing jig, a pressing tool, a welding jig and a welding head. The process includes: positioning the first tubular component with respect to the pressing jig; clamping the first tubular component against the pressing jig; freely fitting the second cylindrical portion into the first cylindrical portion, the two cylindrical portions being substantially coaxial; placing the second component with respect to the first cylindrical portion and the pressing jig; tightening the second tubular component against the pressing jig; aligning the two fitted cylindrical portions with the pressing tool; and pressing by plastic deformation the first and second cylindrical portions. The first and second pressed tubular components form a rigid assembly, with the two fitted and pressed cylindrical portions defining a fitting and a joint. Additional steps include: positioning the rigid assembly with respect to the welding jig; clamping the rigid assembly against the welding jig; and welding by positioning and orienting the welding head repeatably with respect to the fitting and the joint, where the rigid assembly is positioned with respect to the welding jig along one or more surfaces belonging exclusively to the first component in the pressed state.

Abstract: A tank for pressurized gas, such as hydrogen, comprises a structure, a base, a sealing jacket and a ring. The structure has a substantially cylindrical shape along an axis and includes at least one axial opening along the axis. The base is able to be positioned in said opening and comprises, on the inner side, a housing of revolution about the axis and a first fastener, and is pierced with at least one through pipe that is axial along the axis. The sealing jacket is flexible and tight, and is to cover the inner wall of the structure and comprises a neck able to be received in the housing. The ring is substantially of revolution about the axis, and comprises a second fastener able to cooperate with the first fastener in order to assemble the ring with the base, on the inner side, by bringing the ring closer to the base along the axis, so as to progressively press the neck between the ring and the base. The ring comes closer to the base following a movement parallel to the axis from the inside of the tank toward the outside. and A face of the housing opposite the neck and a face of the ring opposite the neck have a small taper.
