What is proposed is a vehicle roof which has a cover element which can be used to selectively close or at least partially expose a roof opening and which, with respect to a vertical vehicle longitudinal center plane, has a control mechanism for the cover element on each of the two sides, said control mechanism comprising a drive carriage which can be moved in a respective roof-mounted guide rail and controls a pivoting and/or displacement of the cover element, wherein the drive carriages are each connected to a pressure-resistant drive cable which can be driven by means of a drive motor. At least one of the control mechanisms has an initialization stop which, in a front or a rear end position of the cover element, engages in a corresponding guide rail cutout whose edge forms a counter-stop for the initialization stop.

A roof arrangement comprising a cover for closing the opening of a vehicle roof, and fastening plate that is connected to the cover in the edge areas thereof, the cover being height-adjustable relative to the vehicle roof. The roof arrangement can have a sealing lip foamed to the fastening plate for sealing at least some sections of the fastening plate relative to the vehicle roof.

The invention relates to a convertible top, comprising a top linkage, which can be moved between an open position that opens the vehicle interior upward and a closed position that covers the vehicle interior above and which as a link assembly on both sides with respect to a vertical vehicle longitudinal center plane, and at least one top element that is at least largely rigid, which top element extends between the link assemblies arranged on both sides. The top element is designed as a plastic composite component that comprises a substrate structure, which is formed on an outer skin that is made of a textile material having a rubber back lining.

The invention proposes a roller blind arrangement for a motor vehicle, comprising a roller blind web by means of which a transparent portion of the motor vehicle can be at least partially shaded, and comprising at least one winding device for winding up the roller blind web. The roller blind web is formed from a knitted spacer fabric which comprises a support layer formed from a knitted fabric and a decorative layer formed from a knitted fabric and connected to the support layer via connecting threads which maintain a spacing.

A vehicle temperature control device for temperature control of a vehicle when the engine is stopped is provided, comprising: an engine-stop signaling device providing an engine-stop signal (MS) indicating an engine-stop; and an off-time temperature controller receiving a signal from the engine-stop signaling device and comprising at least an off-time temperature control automatic which can be switched on and off. The off-time temperature controller is adapted such that, when the off-time temperature control automatic has been switched on and when a heating demand is given, off-time temperature control is automatically started upon receipt of an engine-stop signal (MS).

A method for operating a vehicle heater dosing pump for conveying fuel having a piston which can be moved back and forth between a start position and an end position, and a drive unit which can be electrically excited by applying a voltage, having the following procedure: controlling and/or regulating the voltage for generating an effective voltage to transfer the piston from the start position to the end position, wherein the effective voltage reaches a first maximum (U1) in a start phase (t0-t1), and is lower than the first maximum in a subsequent intermediate phase (t1-t2). The effective voltage reaches a second maximum (U3) in an end phase (t2-t3) following the intermediate phase. A device is also provided having a dosing pump and a control/regulation unit. The control/regulation unit is suitable for controlling voltage applied to a drive unit of the dosing pump.
