    摘要: An endoscopic vessel harvesting device has an elongated sleeve member for insertion into a body having a vessel to be harvested. A V-cutter cutter is provided that is longitudinally extendable from the sleeve member toward a cutting position for cutting branches of a vessel being harvested. The cutter comprises a V-tip, a longitudinal slit for receiving a branch to be cut, and electrodes adjacent to the longitudinal slit for being electrically energized to cut and cauterize the branch. A debris remover is fixed to the sleeve member in alignment with the longitudinal slit for mechanically removing debris from the longitudinal slit when the cutter is positioned longitudinally inward from the cutting position. The debris remover is operable during times that the sleeve member is inserted into the body. Effectiveness of the V-cutter is maintained even in conditions favoring a build-up of debris that could otherwise clog the longitudinal slit of the V-cutter.

The device includes a base structure having a syringe positioning structure and a grip, in which the syringe positioning structure can flexibly accommodate injection syringes with different volumes; a holding structure capable of flexibly adjusting an injection angle of syringe content for easier operation; a qualitative controller capable of accurately controlling injection volume; a pressure pushing structure to hold and push a plunger; an injection controller interlinked with the qualitative controller and the pressure pushing structure; and an eject structure facilitating simple operation and easy replacement of injection syringes. In contrast to conventional structures, the present invention provides advantages that control injection volume more accurately, address better injection angle control, allow for the syringe contents to be free from air exposure, require no special syringes, and allow for single-handed replacement of the injection syringe.

My instrument would allow for the transfer of living endothelial cells with minimal or no trauma.

    摘要: An implement for orientating a tool at a predetermined angle with respect to a plane of a target surface to be engaged by the tool includes a rod having a distal end coupled to a head formed with three contact points arranged in a circular array around the longitudinal axis of the rod, such that the three contact points define a plane. The rod is coupled to the head with the longitudinal axis of the rod at the predetermined angle to the plane defined by the three contact points, such that when the three contact points of the rod are in contact with the target surface, the longitudinal axis of the rod is at the predetermined angle with respect to the plane of the target surface. The implement is described particularly for orientating a surgical cutting tool perpendicularly to bone tissue for harvesting and implanting a bone plug to repair damaged bone tissue.
