摘要： A resealable cap for a container is disclosed, the cap having a seal piercing element, the liquid in the container being initially separated from the piercing element by a seal. The cap includes a collar, a neck portion and a top portion. The top portion includes the seal piercing element. There is a liquid passageway through the cap, after the top portion has been moved from an initial position to a closed position (thus piercing the seal) and thence to an open position. Thereafter the cap can be resealed and opened repeatedly, by movement of the top portion from the open position to the closed position and vice versa. Numerous embodiments of the invention are disclosed.

摘要： A container for receiving and dispensing a fluid medium, in particular adhesive, comprises a container opening that is sealed by means of a membrane that can be pierced; a dispensing tube that can be connected with the container via the container opening for dispensing the fluid medium; and a screw cap for sealing the dispensing tube. There is a dispensing tube holder fixed on the container housing, in which the dispensing tube is axially supported between a starting position, in which its lower end is resting above the membrane to be pierced, and an axially blocked end position, in which its lower end has pierced the membrane. There is a servo-drive integrated in the screw cap for the dispensing tube. The servo-drive translates a rotational motion for opening the screw cap into a movement for displacing the dispensing tube into its end position.

摘要： A spout and sealing cap assembly for a container which contains a product such as a liquid or pasty product. The container includes a nick closed off by a lid that must be pierced for dispensing the product. The assembly includes a spout with a body that is fixed to the neck. The spout also includes a hollow piercing and dispensing element provided with sharp edges designed to pierce the lid. The element is suspended inside the body by a deformable annular bulged membrane which enables the piercing element to assume an upper position and a lower position wherein the sharp edges extend below the ruptured lid. The spout body is covered by a sealing cap which assumes either an open or a closed position. The cap includes a sealing member extending of a top section of the cap. When the cap is closed, the sealing member is designed for insertion in sealing fashion within the hollow element or in a fitting and sealing relationship about the hollow element both when the element is in the upper and the lower position.

摘要： This invention presents to the art a novel, improved plastic nozzle cap for a compressible tube having a sealed outlet opening. The novel, improved nozzle cap comprises an outlet bore and means for securing the cap to the tube. The outlet bore is positioned in a predetermined relationship with the outlet opening of the tube to which the cap is to be secured so that when the cap is secured to the tube, a device can be inserted into the outlet bore to pierce the sealed outlet opening of the tube. The device used to pierce the sealed outlet is an integral part of the cap but can be readily broken from the cap. The broken off device has a portion dimensioned and shaped so that the device has the capability for piercing the sealed outlet opening of the tube and for closing the outlet bore.

摘要： A cap is provided for telescoping over the puncturable seal of a medicament vial and particularly a unit dose medicament vial. The cap includes a center outwardly projecting tubular extension including outer end circumferentially spaced inwardly projecting abutments. A needle structure including a generally cylindrical body is slidingly received within the tubular extension of the cap and includes a diametrically reduced sharpened tubular needle extension on its inner end opposing and for piercing the puncturable seal of the associated vial upon movement of the needle structure inwardly of the tubular extension or mounting portion of the cap. The exterior of the tubular needle extension, spaced from the terminal end thereof, includes a bulbous enlargement for abutting against and distention of the center portion of the puncturable seal of an associated vial in order to limit penetration of the needle extension through the seal and to stretch the central seal portion to insure its penetration by the sharpened inner end of the needle structure. A cover of tubular configuration and including a closed outer end has its inner end slightly telescoped over the outer terminal end of the tubular extension and encloses those portions of the body projecting outward of the extension, the cover being inwardly displaceable along the tubular extension for engagement with the outer end portion of the needle body to inwardly displace the latter for puncturing of the associated seal by means of the needle extension.

摘要： A stopper for a medicament vial including a thin central zone thereof and a beveled sleeve is supported over the outer surface of the thin central zone of the stopper by means of three radially outwardly extending and arched legs anchored to the peripheral portions of the stopper at their outer ends. The sleeve is tapered toward the central area of the stopper and the end of the sleeve adjacent the stopper is beveled for piercing the thin central zone of the stopper. However, the legs support the sleeve with its beveled end at least closely adjacent the stopper and the arched legs are bendable whereby a thrust on the outer end of the sleeve will be sufficient to bend the legs and advance the beveled end of the sleeve toward the central area of the stopper for piercing the same. The sleeve includes an outer barb for retention through the thin central area of the stopper and a conventional aluminum seal is secured over the stopper and the adjacent end of the vial and also covers the stopper piercing sleeve and its bowed support legs.
