摘要:
PHOSPHORUS-CONTAINING COMPOUNDS WHICH ARE USEFUL IN THE PREPARATION OF POLYURETHANES AND WHICH ARE DERIVED FROM (1) PHOSPHORUS COMPOUNDS CONTAINING AT LEAST ONE ACTIVE FUNCTION (2) ALKYLENE OXIDES OR EPIHALOHYDRIN AND (3) DICARBOXYLIC ACID ANHYDRIDES ARE PROVIDED. AMONG THE COMPOUNDS ARE THOSE PREPARED BY REACTING A DICARBOXYLIC ACID ANHYDRIDE WITH A PHOSPHORUS ACID WHICH HAS BEEN PARTIALLY OR COMPLETELY REACTED WITH AN ALKYLENE OXIDE OR EPIHALOHYDRIN, FOLLOWED BY REACTION OF THE CARBOXYL GROUP THUS FORMED WITH ADDITIONAL ALKYLENE OXIDE OR EPIHALOHYDRIN. METHODS FOR PREPARATION OF THE COMPOUNDS ARE ALSO PROVIDED.

A process for preparing organophosphorus compounds of the formula:
R, X, n and n'' are as previously defined and hal is a halogen having an atomic weight between about 30 and 85; with a salt of pseudohalide in the presence of a catalytic amount of a tertiary amine.
R is a radical substantially hydrocarbon in nature but which can contain relatively inert substituents, X is a chalcogen having an atomic weight less than about 35, W is a pseudohalide selected from CN, NCO, and NCS groups, and n and n'' are integers of from one to two, the sum of which is not greater than three. The process comprises reacting an organophosphorus halide of the formula:

THE INVENTION RELATES TO ALKALI METAL DIAMIDOPHOSPHITES OF FORMULA:
(-)O-P(-N(-R1)-R2)2 M(+)
WHERE R1 AND R2 ARE ORGANIC RADICALS AND M IS AN ALKALI METAL, WHICH CAN BE PREPARED BY REACTING A HALOGENOPHOSPHONAMIDE WITH AN ALKALI METAL, FOR EXAMPLE SODIUM, IN A SUITABLE SOLVENT. EXAMPLES OF SUITABLE DIAMIDOPHOSPHITES ARE SODIUM N,N,N'',N''-TETRAMETHYLDIAMIDOPHOSPHITE, N,N,N'',N''-TETRAETHYLDIAMIDEOPHOSPHITE AND DIPIPER IDINOPHOSPHITE. THE INVENTION ALSO RELATES TO A PROCESS FOR CONVERTING THE DIAMIDOPHOSPHITES INTO ORGANIC COMPOUNDS CONTAINING THE
-P(=O)(-N(-R1)-R2)2
GROUP BY REACTING THEM WITH A REACTIVE ESTER. THE PHOSPHONAMIDE PRODUCTS ARE USEFUL AS PESTICIDES.
摘要:
Organic tetrasubstituted ester and amide derivatives of pyrophosphoric or hypophosphoric acid are prepared by reacting a tetramethylammonium salt of an appropriately disubstituted derivative of orthophosphoric acid with a halogeno-derivative of an appropriately disubstituted derivative of orthophosphoric or phosphorous acid. The products may be of formula or where R1, R2, R3 and R4 represent radicals (a) of monohydroxy alcohols that are saturated or unsaturated, unsubstituted or nitrated, and belong to the aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, aromatic and/or heterocyclic series, (b) of substituted or unsubstituted monophenols, and/or (c) of aliphatic amines, aromatic amines, cycloaliphatic amines and/or heterocyclic amines in which the nitrogen is in the heterocyclic ring. Many examples are given. Compounds of the above formulae are claimed per se with the provisos that where the R radicals are all from unsubstituted monohydroxy alcohols or unsubstituted monohydroxy phenols, at least one differs from the other three, that where all four R radicals are derived from amines, they all differ from one another, and that when two R radicals are from unsubstituted alcohols and the other two from alkyl amines, either the pair of alcohol radicals or the alkylamine radicals or both pairs are dissimilar. The reaction may be effected in an inert solvent, preferably one in which the (CH2)4NCl formed is insoluble.
