    摘要: Gas cooking appliance including at least one burner and an ignition device configured to ignite the burner. The ignition device includes a pulse generator configured to send at least one electric pulse for the purpose of generating a spark to ignite the burner. The cooking appliance also includes a flame detector configured to detect the presence/absence of a flame in the burner. The pulse generator is in electrical contact with a part of the burner and the flame detector is connected to ground. The cooking appliance further includes insulating means that insulates the burner with respect to ground, such that when the pulse generator sends at least one electric pulse, an electric spark capable of igniting the burner is generated between the burner and the flame detector.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is an ignition system for igniting a flame in a combustion chamber comprising a conduit secured to a windbox wall of the combustion chamber; where the conduit includes a fuel conduit for delivering fuel to the combustion chamber; and a single ignitor and flame rod assembly having a first end and a second end; where the first end comprises a high energy ignitor tip; where the second end is in electrical communication with an electrical power source; where the electrical power source comprises a spark transformer that comprises a primary winding and a secondary winding; a flame monitoring ignitor; where the flame monitoring ignitor is in direct electrical communication with a ground contact and with a low voltage side of the secondary winding; where the flame monitoring ignitor is disposed between the low voltage side of the secondary winding and a ground contact; and a transient voltage suppressor; that is disposed in parallel with the flame monitoring ignitor.

    摘要: A combustion system comprises a discharge nozzle with concentric air and fuel orifices. A fuel conduit is coupled to each fuel orifice while an air conduit is coupled to each air orifice. The fuel and air only mixing with one another upon discharge. A supplemental air source supplies supplement air for combustion. An air deflector disk supports the discharge nozzle and a cylindrical blast tube surrounds the air deflector sleeve and the air deflector disk while an outlet end of the cylindrical blast tube supports a flame retention head. The deflector disk permits some combustion air to flow into the combustion chamber while redirecting a remaining portion of the supplement air. The flame retention head permits some of the supplement air to discharge into a burner box while redirecting the remaining supplement air radially inward through openings in the air deflector sleeve to assist with combustion of the fuel mixture.

    摘要: A combustion apparatus according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a fuel storage container for storing fuel, a combustor having a certain length and connected to the fuel storage container and a pipe so as to be supplied with fuel and combust fuel, an air blower disposed at one end of the combustor and supplying air into the combustor, and a flame plate disposed over the combustor in a longitudinal direction and perfectly combusting air that is imperfectly combusted in the combustor. The combustor has a groove formed in a longitudinal direction of the combustor, an ignition heater disposed in the longitudinal direction of the groove and generating heat, an ignition wick disposed over the ignition heater, absorbing fuel, and igniting by heat, and a pair of combustion wicks disposed in the longitudinal direction of the combustor so as to be spaced away from the ignition wick by a certain distance and combusting fuel.
