    摘要: Provided is an unsaturated polyester resin composition comprising 100 parts by mass of an unsaturated polyester resin (a) 400 to 1,000 parts by mass of a mixture of an inorganic filler (b) having a thermal conductivity coefficient of 20 W/m·K or more and aluminum hydroxide (c); 20 to 300 parts by mass of a glass fiber (d) having a fiber length of 1.5 mm or less; and 15 to 50 parts by mass of a low profile additive (e), the inorganic filler (b) and the aluminum hydroxide (c) being mixed at a mass ratio of 80:20 to 20:80, in which the unsaturated polyester resin composition further includes an alkyl peroxyalkylate-based curing agent (f) represented by the following formula (1): wherein R represents an alkyl group; and R′ represents an alkyl group having 3 or more carbon atoms, and a polymerization inhibitor (g). The unsaturated polyester resin composition yields a cured product having a low shrinkage ratio, a low linear expansion coefficient, and a high thermal conductivity coefficient, and is excellent in in-mold flowability and curability.

    摘要: An electronically commutated DC motor for a liquid pump, comprising a pump housing, a suction connection and a pressure connection, a substantially disk-shaped pump rotor mounted rotatably in the pump housing, the rotor comprising an impeller having a plurality of pump vanes and a permanent magnet, a partition separating a pump space from a dry space, wherein the partition is disposed in an axial gap between the pump rotor and a plurality of axially parallel oriented stator poles of the DC motor, which are each provided with an insulating body and a stator winding, the stator poles adjoin a stator yoke, which is connected to a metallic heat-conducting body, and the stator containing the stator poles, the stator windings, the stator yoke and the heat-conducting body is disposed in a motor housing made of plastic material. By providing that the stator is surrounded by a flexible foil, and at least a large part of the foil is disposed inside the motor housing radially around the stator windings, a simple solution ensures good shielding against interference in an existing electronically commutated DC motor, without requiring modifications to the existing design.

    摘要: A method of insulating a coil of an electrical machine includes applying an insulating varnish to a coil of conductive wire. The varnish includes (i) a resin; (ii) a first catalyst having a first activation temperature, the first catalyst being active at room temperature; and (iii) a second catalyst with a second activation temperature substantially higher than the first activation temperature. The varnish is allowed to partially cure at room temperature. The coil is mounted to a yoke to form a rotor of the electrical machine. The rotor is operated so as to heat the coil and activate the second catalyst to complete curing of the varnish.
