Abstract: An electric submersible pumping system includes a motor, a pump driven by the motor, and a cable that provides electrical power to the motor. The cable includes a conductor and an insulator surrounding the conductor. The insulator includes a first layer surrounding the conductor and a second layer surrounding the first layer. The insulator may include an H2S scavenger and an H2S reactant in the first or second layers surrounding the conductor. The cable optionally includes a sub-insulator layer that includes a metal or nitride coating applied directly to the conductor.

Abstract: Systems and methods provided herein relate to a well site or other plant. Abstract: An open impeller for a submergible pump for pumping abrasive fluids. The impeller has a cover plate, a hub and at least two spirally swept blades, each blade having a leading edge, a trailing edge, and a lower edge extending from the leading edge to the trailing edge and separating the suction and pressure sides of the blade. At least one blade includes a winglet at the lower edge projecting from the suction side, located radially outside an inner radius of the impeller, and extending circumferentially to the trailing edge at the suction side at a maximum radius of the impeller. The lower edge and winglet lower wear surface are configured to be located opposite of and facing a pump wear plate. The inner radius is equal to the largest of the maximum radius of the impeller multiplied by 0.6, and an inlet radius of the impeller multiplied by 1.2.

Abstract: A fluid pump assembly is provided. The pump has a pair of units magnetically coupled to each other. The first unit contains a drive motor and a magnetic assembly. The second unit contains a magnetic assembly and a blade of a propeller/impeller for imparting movement to a fluid. As the first unit is activated by the drive motor, a magnetic flux is created which in turn rotates the magnetic assembly in the second unit, driving the blade.

Abstract: A multistage pump for installation on a sea ground includes a common housing, a pump unit arranged in the common housing, a drive unit arranged in the common housing, and a coupling. The drive unit includes a drive shaft to drive the pump shaft, and an electric motor configured to rotate the drive shaft about an axial direction. The coupling couples the drive shaft to the pump shaft. The pump unit conveys the fluid in a dense phase at the pump outlet, and at least two impellers of the plurality of impellers have a different specific speed.
