摘要： In a method of resin-sealing a semiconductor device having a circuit board with an IC thereon, a metal mold formed of upper and lower metal molds is prepared. The upper metal mold has a pressing member, and the lower metal mold has a cavity for mounting the circuit board therein, a pinpoint gate formed at a lower portion of the cavity and a runner section formed below the cavity and communicating with the pinpoint gate. The circuit board is positioned in the cavity of the lower metal mold, and is set such that the IC faces downward. A rear surface of the circuit board where the IC is not mounted is pressed by the pressing member, and a resin is filled in the cavity through the runner section and the pinpoint gate to thereby seal the IC mounted on the circuit board by the resin.

摘要： A novel and improved metal mold for molding a runnerless product can be provided. The metal mold according to the present invention comprises a stationary and a movable mold halves, one of which is provided at the center thereof with a recess and the other of which is provided with a compression core to be retractably received by said recess, said stationary and movable mold halves defining a cavity for the runnerless product, and further comprises a hot nozzle inserted into the recess or the compression core and having a tip projecting therefrom to allow resin to be left around the nozzle. In such a construction, a runner section and a gate are defined by said recess and the compression core so as that they are closable by the movement of said compression core, and thereby the center of the final product, e.g. a disc can certainly be finished without punching, cutting or the like.

The method includes injecting synthetic resin into a mold cavity formed by a first and second metal molds to form the substrate, and punching at least part of the centering hole by a movable member protruded into the mold cavity to form a through-hole. A stamper containing digital information is held in place inside the mold cavity by its inner circumference by means of a vacuum or a magnet.

摘要： A pair of semispherical molds, each having dimple-forming projections on a connecting portion is used to shape a resinous material into a golf ball having dimples on a seam corresponding to the connecting portion. A ball fixing means is utilized to hold the golf ball thereto with the seam uncovered. A cutting member disposed at an end of a rotary shaft, and having a radius of curvature smaller than a sectional radius of curvature of the dimple is utilized to remove a burr from the seam of the golf ball. The rotary shaft rotates on its axis and moves forward when the cutting member is brought into contact with the dimple on the seam and backward when the cutting member is brought into contact with a convex land portion. The cutting member is then pressed against the seam successively in alternate contact with the dimples and the land portions.

摘要： A sprueless disc mold including: a gate insert; a hot plunger adapted to come into sliding contact with the gate insert and heated and held; drive means for moving the hot plunger to open/close the gate; and a cooling air passage. The hot plunger includes a shoulder portion formed at its leading end portion. The gate insert includes: a leading end face forming a portion of a cavity face together with the shoulder portion of the hot plunger; an annular recess for forming the disc into a shape having one face raised to the crest of a stack rib; and an inner circumference extending from the inner circumferential edge of the circumferential recess toward the gate. The hot plunger further includes at its leading end portion: an outer circumference forming the inner circumference near the gate and adapted to come into sliding contact with the inner circumference of the gate insert to close the gate; a chamfered portion formed on the corner, at which the outer circumference and the shoulder portion come into contact with each other, and having an inner slope leading from the crest of the stack rib to the face of the disc. At the protruded position of the hot plunger, the annular recess of the gate insert and the chamfered portion of the hot plunger are made to come into contact with each other to form a recess for forming the stack rib.

摘要： A locally pressurizing type injection molding machine includes a stationary die and a movable die, so that a molded product can be formed by charging a resin into a cavity defined between the dies. A pressurizing pin extends through the movable die and has its tip end facing at least one of a resin passage and the cavity. A pressurizing cylinder is disposed at the rear of the pressurizing pin to move the pressurizing pin through the pressurizing rod. Therefore, the resin charged in the cavity can be pressurized by advancing the pressurizing pin into a resin passage, for example, a gate, the cavity or the like and hence, it is possible not only to provide an extremely thin molded product, but also to prevent the generation of a sink mark. The area occupied by the movable platen can be reduced by disposing the pressurizing rod and ejector rod coaxially.
