    摘要: A rotary damper includes a housing having an outer cylinder, an inner cylinder coaxially disposed inside the outer cylinder, and a bottom plate closing one end side of the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder, to form an annular liquid chamber with a viscous fluid therein, and a rotor including a cylindrical blade portion rotatably received in the liquid chamber. An annular locking groove extends circumferentially in a first portion at an outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder, or a second portion facing the first portion on an inner peripheral surface of the blade portion. A locking convex portion projects from the other of the first portion or the second portion, and locked in the locking groove. An annular inside seal member is interposed between the inner cylinder and the blade portion, and an annular outside seal member is interposed between the outer cylinder and the blade portion.

    摘要: A fluid damper assembly including a housing that defines a chamber. A rod extends into the chamber and is axially moveable relative to the housing. A bushing is disposed about the rod and is fixed relative to the housing for guiding the rod during the axial movement of the rod. A piston is connected to the rod and is disposed in axially sliding engagement with the housing in the chamber in a compression stroke and in a rebound stroke in response to relative movement between the rod and the housing. A cushioning device extends from the bushing and biases the piston toward the compression stroke for dampening movement of the piston during the rebound stroke of the piston. The cushioning device and the bushing are integral with one another and of a homogeneous material.

    摘要: A retrofittable, or originally manufactured, shock piston and cylinder protection seal and method of retrofitting to same is disclosed. A preferred embodiment includes one to four individual wipers contacting the shock piston thereby maintaining its surface free from debris with minimal friction affecting the intended dampening properties of suspension. Different embodiments are further disclosed that allow for loosening of components by threaded members and replacement with either a collar or a foam seal that can peel away from the cylinder for removal and replacement. The originally manufactured version of the invention incorporates the seal housing to a bottom shock cylinder.

    摘要: A sealing assembly insertable between a rod and a guiding bush of a shock absorber to form a sealing and guiding unit for the rod is provided. The assembly includes an elastomeric ring having a first and a second annular lip which extend axially and radially overhanging; and a reinforcing ring integrally coupled to the elastomeric ring, radially on the side of the first and of the second sealing lip. The reinforcing ring is integrally coupled in one piece with the elastomeric ring, on the exterior of the elastomeric ring and on the side of a lateral surface thereof facing towards the lips, the reinforcing ring coupling in sliding manner with the rod to serve as guide therefor. The sealing ring coupling by interference with the guiding bush.
