Abstract: The present disclosure provides a rotational spring dampener that has a compression limiter, a first disk, and a second disk. The first disk is disposed at a first end of the compression limiter and the second disk is disposed at a second end of the compression limiter, where the second end is opposite the first end. The rotational spring dampener also has a tensile member. The tensile member is connected to the first disk and the second disk. The tensile member is composed of a block copolymer.

Abstract: According to some embodiments, a vibration-isolating system comprises a case, one or more environmental buffers, a platform suspended within the case by a plurality of wire rope isolators, a crumple zone beneath the platform and configured with one or more shock-absorbing structures, and a container assembly configured on the platform. The container assembly is operable to protect a payload comprising a flexible panel. The container assembly comprises a back panel positioned behind the flexible panel and offset by a first substantially airtight compartment, a front panel positioned in front of the flexible panel and offset by a second substantially airtight compartment, and a stiffener panel positioned in front of the front panel and offset by a third substantially airtight compartment.

Abstract: A damper device that suppresses arc discharge between electrodes generated by bubbles in an electro-rheological fluid, includes an inner tube housed in an outer tube forming an outer shell of a damper device. An electrode tube is arranged between the outer tube and the inner tube. An electro-rheological fluid is sealed in the outer tube. The inner tube and the electrode tube constitute a cathode and an anode, respectively, and apply a voltage to the electro-rheological fluid located between the inner tube and the electrode tube. An insulating layer is provided on a surface of the electrode tube on a side facing the inner tube or on a surface of the inner tube on a side facing the electrode tube. When a maximum voltage applied to the electro-rheological fluid is Vmax (V), a thickness t (m) of the insulating layer is set to satisfy Formula (1).

Abstract: A valve spring includes a nitrided layer, and a core portion that is further inward than the nitrided layer. A chemical composition of the core portion consists of, in mass %, C: 0.53 to 0.59%, Si: 2.51 to 2.90%, Mn: 0.70 to 0.85%, P: 0.020% or less, S: 0.020% or less, Cr: 1.40 to 1.70%, Mo: 0.17 to 0.53%, V: 0.23 to 0.33%, Ca: 0.0001 to 0.0050%, Cu: 0.050% or less, Ni: 0.050% or less, Al: 0.0050% or less, Ti: 0.050% or less, and N: 0.0070% or less, with the balance being Fe and impurities. In the core portion, a number density of V-based precipitates having a maximum diameter ranging from 2 to 10 nm is 500 to 8000 per μm2, and in the core portion, a numerical proportion of Ca sulfides with respect to a total number of oxide-based inclusions and sulfide-based inclusions is 0.20% or less.

Abstract: A shock absorber includes: a first passage through which a working fluid flows from a chamber inside a cylinder; a second passage which communicates with the chamber; a damping force generation mechanism which is provided in the first passage, a communication hole which is provided with at least a part of a passage of the second passage and is formed in a piston rod communicating with at least the chamber; a housing which has a passage of least a part of the second passage; a free piston which is movably provided inside the housing and defines the second passage into an upstream side and a downstream side of a flow of the working fluid when the piston moves in one direction, and an elastic body which is provided between the free piston and the housing. Abstract: A linear vibration motor comprises: a motor housing, a stator, a vibrator, and at least two sets of elastic support assemblies for suspending the vibrator in the motor housing and for supporting the vibrator and providing an elastic restoring force. The elastic support assemblies are located between the inner wall of the motor housing and the vibrator, each set of the elastic support assemblies comprising at least two elastic supports. The elastic support comprises a first connection point fixedly connected to the vibrator and a second connection point fixedly connected to the inner wall of the motor housing. The second connection point is coupled to a side wall of the motor housing parallel to the vibration direction of the vibrator. The first connection point and the second connection point of the elastic support are located at the same side of the central axis of the vibrator parallel to the vibration direction of the transducer. The structure of the linear vibration motor is simplified, the vibration support assemblies have better vibration effect, and give the user a good experience.
