摘要: An input image is received from a mobile device. A portion of the input image is determined to correspond to a test card and an image transformation is applied to that portion of the input image. The image transformation rectifies the portion of the input image. 摘要: An image decoding method decodes a coded stream which includes processing units and a header of the processing units, and which is generated by coding a moving picture using inter prediction. The processing units includes at least one processing unit divided in a hierarchy, the hierarchy including a highest hierarchical layer in which a coding unit exists as a largest processing unit and a lower hierarchical layer in which a prediction unit exists. The method includes identifying, by parsing hierarchy depth information stored in the header and indicating a hierarchical layer higher than a lowest hierarchical layer in which a smallest prediction unit exists, a hierarchical layer which is indicated by the hierarchy depth information or a hierarchical layer higher than the indicated hierarchical layer. The hierarchical layer includes a prediction unit in which a reference index is stored. The prediction unit is decoded using the reference index.

In an example, an apparatus comprises logic, at least partially comprising hardware logic, to determine whether a pixel block encoded in YCoCg format is suitable for compression, and in response to a determination that the pixel block is suitable for compression, to apply an encoding transform to the pixel block to generate an encoded YCoCg data set for the pixel block and apply a compression algorithm to the encoded YCoCg data set. A computer-readable medium includes a bitstream stored in the computer-readable medium, the bitstream comprising a wrap indicator, wherein the wrap indicator is used to determine a picture order count (POC) cycle parameter for one or more long term reference pictures in a decoded picture buffer based on a designated picture; wherein the POC cycle parameter indicates a decoded picture set which includes a first long term reference picture; and wherein a current picture is encoded based the first long term reference picture.

摘要: Embodiments described herein provide various examples of a real-time face-detection, face-tracking, and face-pose-selection subsystem within an embedded video system. In one aspect, a process for performing real-time face-pose-estimation and best-pose selection for a detected person captured in a video is disclosed. This process includes the steps of: receiving a video image among a sequence of video frames of a video; performing a face detection operation on the video image to detect a set of faces in the video image; detecting a new person appears in the video based on the set of detected faces; tracking the new person through subsequent video images in the video by detecting a sequence of face images of the new person in the subsequent video images; and for each of the subsequent video images which contains a detected face of the new person being tracked: estimating a pose associated with the detected face and updating a best pose for the new person based on the estimated pose. Upon detecting that the new person has disappeared from the video, the process then transmits a detected face of the new person corresponding to the current best pose to a server, wherein transmitting the detected face having the best pose among the sequence of detected face images reduces network bandwidth and improves storage efficiency.

An outline of the first region varies depending on a shape of a display device of the external device.
