Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for performing a blockchain-based transaction, comprising: executing a first process on a first blockchain, including: causing a first amount of cryptocurrency to be burned on the first blockchain according to a burn operation; formatting a message to include one or more details of the burn operation; and emitting the message to an event log associated with the first blockchain; requesting an attestation from an attestation service based on a hash of the message emitted to the event log; receiving the attestation from the attestation service; and executing a second process on a second blockchain, including: providing the message and the attestation to the second blockchain; and causing a second amount of cryptocurrency to be minted on the second blockchain based on the message.

Abstract: A user terminal generates a first key pair and a second key pair, transmits a permission request including a public encryption key of the second key pair after electronically signing the permission request with a secret encryption key, and acquires, from permission information transmitted from a right-holder terminal, a content decryption key by using a secret decryption key of the second key pair and uses the content. The right-holder terminal stores a third key pair and the content decryption key, verifies the permission request received, and encrypts the content decryption key by using the public encryption key of the second key pair included in the permission request and transmits the permission information including the encrypted content decryption key after electronically signing the permission information with a secret encryption key of the third key pair. The permission request and the permission information are transmitted and received via a blockchain.

Abstract: A method of transferring information with verification from a first party to a second party using suitably programmed computing apparatus is described. Information from a first party private address to a first party public address. This information is then sent from the first party public address to a second party address. The information is also provided for public recordal on a block of a block chain for verification. The first party private address is not communicated to the second party but the first party public address is communicated to the second party. This approach is particularly suitable for transfer of cryptocurrency, as it allows for an effective refund mechanism. Computing apparatus and application software adapted to implement this approach is also described.

Abstract: A ticket for managing cryptocurrency. The ticket incorporates a redeeming code in combination with a loading code for activating the redeeming code. At the same time, however, the loading code also prohibits access to the underlying redeeming code, thereby preventing use. Therefore, in order to access the redeeming code and redeem the ticket of cryptocurrency, the loading code is inherently destroyed by removal. Thus, the ticket is no longer practically able to be re-loaded and is thus, single-use, thereby aiding in user understanding and management of cryptocurrency.

Abstract: The invention is a system and method for time and frequency-restricted cryptocurrency transactions that use blockchain-based systems, tokens, coins, and exchanges to reduce energy consumption and increase energy efficiency. The system imposes time and frequency-specific restrictions on transactions to reduce temperature yield and lower the carbon footprint, which contributes to climate change. Transactions within the designated “open or free trade” period may incur zero or reduced fees, and any transactions outside of the transactors' designated time or frequency limits may result in higher fees, which a portion results in carbon credit offsets. The invention also includes an “ejection button” that allows transactors to buy or sell outside of their designated time or frequency limits without higher fees, with a percentage of the proceeds resulting in carbon credit offsets. The invention provides a more energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly alternative to existing cryptocurrency systems.

Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for a computing resource to oversee handling and execution of a looping process, comprising: the computing resource monitoring a state of the blockchain to cause one or more transactions to be written to a blockchain, wherein execution of the looping process comprises the computing resource managing and running a loop, the loop having an index representing a current iteration and a limit indicating a total number of iterations of the loop, wherein an iteration of the loop comprises: incrementing the index by one, and executing a code block of the loop containing an if condition then action statement; storing the cryptographic hash in a blockchain transaction and broadcasting the blockchain transaction to the blockchain network to record the execution of the iteration of the loop; and repeating the loop steps until the limit is reached.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for virtualizing policy enforcement amongst participants of an overlay network. In some embodiments, each of the participants may maintain a separate blockchain network. The overlay network may receive smart contracts or other policy documents that include information on interactions with a particular participant or between participants. A controller, which may be implemented on any node of the overlay network, may then extract an interaction algorithm from that smart contract that may be stored in policy data to be used in completing transactions between two participants of the overlay network. In some embodiments, the policy data may include cost data which may be used to determine how two entities may interact.
