    摘要: An internal resistive coating for a cathode ray tube is derived from a suspension which includes electrically conductive particles, electrically insulative particles, silicate solids and a wetting agent of the anionic class. The internal resistive coating is made by mixing the insulative particles, a silicate solution and water, milling the mixture, adding electrically conductive particles to the mixture, milling the electrically conductive particles and mixture to provide a suspension, preparing a stock solution of wetting agent of the anionic class, and stirring the wetting agent stock solution into the suspension to provide a wall dispersed resistive coating suspension.

A high density array of bistable switches provides high resolution of optical output, and high current density capability in the bistable switches provides high voltage level switching across the layer providing optical output for optimum brightness of the visual display.

    摘要: An image-retaining panel receives a momentarily projected image, and retains a replica of that image for extended periods irrespective of local lighting. The panel consists of a pair of electroluminescent slabs electrically connected by an opaque layer that conducts only laterally. The viewing image formed on the outer electroluminescent slab does not affect the photoconductivity of the medium which drives the inner electroluminescent slab. Hence, ambient light falling on the outer slab does not affect the image.
