摘要: Method and device for safe switching of a signal between a first and second point. Device includes a first branch having a first switch and second switch arranged between the first and second point, and a parallel second branch having a third switch and fourth switch. A testing device instructs a control unit, in a test sequence, to open the first switch for a first period of time, open the second switch for a second period of time, open the third switch for a third period of time, and open the fourth switch for a fourth period of time. Neither the first nor second periods of time overlap with the third or fourth period of time. A testing unit tests functioning of the switches during respective period of time, and generates an error signal in the event of a malfunction of at least one switch.

摘要: This pressing device includes an actuator, a pressing unit provided on a movable element of the actuator, a movement quantity detector for detecting a movement quantity of the movable element and outputting movement quantity information indicating the movement quantity, and a drive device that moves the pressing unit to press a pressed object by supplying a drive current to the actuator based on the movement quantity information. The drive device controls an operation of the pressing unit using position control processing based on current information indicating the drive current and the movement quantity information. When the speed of the pressing unit is decelerated down to a predetermined lower limit speed, the drive device controls the speed of the pressing unit to be constant based on the current information, and when the current reaches a predetermined current value, determines that the pressing operation is performed.

摘要: A motor controller is provided that executes a commutation routine in one of a plurality of operating modes to regulate current provided to drive coils in a linear motion system. The motor controller generated currents for each of the drive coils in a first operating mode to minimize the copper losses in the drive coils, in a second operating mode to maximize the force applied to the mover, in a third operating mode to provide balanced currents between the drive coils, and in a fourth operating mode to provide currents according to a selected operating point that combines characteristics of the first three operating points. The motor controller may also monitor each of the drive coils for saturation and redistribute at least a portion of the current required to control operation of the mover to the other drive coils when one of the drive coils is saturated.

摘要: In a transition of a transport unit of a long stator linear motor from a first control zone to a following second control zone in a movement direction, a first segment control unit is responsible for controlling the movement of the transport unit and the first control zone is extended, in the movement direction, by a number of virtual drive coils. The first segment control unit, which is assigned to the first control zone, calculates manipulated variables for the virtual drive coils, and transmits the manipulated variables for the virtual drive coils to the second segment control unit, which is assigned to the second control zone. The second segment control unit uses the transmitted manipulated variables for the virtual drive coils in order to energize the drive coils of the second control zone for moving the transport unit.

摘要: The invention relates to a self-learning repetitive method for an electrical drive or motor, in particular a linear or slewing drive, for determining the maximum speed during the movement of the actuator between a starting point (SP) and an end point (EP), wherein the actuator is accelerated to a speed vmax over a first distance (xbeschl), is braked over a second distance (xbrems) and is then moved at a safe low speed (vsafe) over a third distance (xsafe) as far as the stop and is stopped. The method is repeated with the aim of minimizing the third distance (xSafe,min) and thereby achieving the maximum speed (BPmax, vmax). The method also provides for taking into account the external interfering influences, for example external forces and friction. The invention also relates to such an electrical drive.

摘要: A stator segment for a linear motor-based transport system is developed to the effect that a transmitter for cyclic transmission of a control data record in a first clock cycle also transmits, in addition to transmitting the control data record, a position value in a clock-synchronized manner, wherein a plurality of positions are available as a sequence with a quantity of elements and an element with an index corresponds to a position, where the transmitter unit is configured such that, upon every first clock cycle, the index is incremented commencing from a starting value and an element is transmitted after the control data record, where the transmitter unit is furthermore configured to transmit all elements in one transmission interval, and where the transmission interval corresponds to a multiple of the first clock cycle.
