摘要： A disposable tape kit and method for use by athletes or others requiring immobilisation of the wrist. The tape kit includes a first strip with a palm anchor, an anterior wrist portion, and an anterior forearm anchor, along with a second strip that includes a back anchor, a wrist anchor starting end, a wrist anchor central portion, and a wrist anchor finishing end. When applied to a wearer's hand, wrist, and forearm, tension along the first strip on the anterior side of the wrist resists extension of the wrist, while tension along the second strip on the posterior side of the wrist resists flexion of the wrist. The combination of the first tension and second tension tends to immobilize the wrist against both flexion and extension.

摘要： A resin MMF/reimplantation kit is provided with a dental arch bar that includes an elongated pliable splint and a plurality of attachment members. The pliable splint includes an interiorly facing side surface and an exteriorly facing side surface. The pliable splint includes a curable component that cures from a moldable state to a rigid state in less than one minute upon being activated. The attachment members can be ether partially embedded in the pliable splint or can be separate from the pliable splint until after the pliable splint is attached to the patient's teeth.

摘要： An orthopedic brace and method of making the same includes a wrap member having a first and second layer. The first layer includes a first sheet and a second sheet in a laterally spaced apart relationship. Each sheet has an inner side edge and an inner panel portion which extends the length of the corresponding sheet along the corresponding inner side edge. The second layer has first and second side edges, a first overlay portion extending the length of the second layer adjacent the first side edge and overlapping the first sheet's panel portion, a second overlay portion extending the length of the second layer adjacent the second side edge and overlapping the second sheet's panel portion, and a center portion that bridges the overlay portions. The layers are stitched together along spaced apart sets of seams.
