    摘要: Grinding and/or erosion machine (10) for machining a chip-cutting rotary tool including a tool body (18) and several cutting plates (19) per existing pitch (TR). A control device (25) activates an axis arrangement (11) to move a machine tool (12) and the rotary tool (13) to be machined relative to each other. An interface device (26) triggers a data import function for reading-in the position data of the cutting plates (19). The position data (P) describe at least one angular value (α1, α2), a first length value (z1) and a second length value (z2). The control device (25) imports the position data (P) in chaotic order and allocates the position data (P) of each cutting plate (19) in the imported machine data set (M) to respectively one separate virtual pitch (TV), independent of whether the cutting plates (19) belong to a common pitch of the rotary tool (13).

    摘要: A milling cutter includes a shank and a cutting head attached to the shank. The cutting head has a plurality of helical teeth, each tooth including a cutting tip, a leading face and a rear face. A flute is defined between the leading face of a trailing tooth, and a rear face of an immediately preceding tooth. A gully of the flute has a flute base with a portion that is planar or convex in profile to provide additional volume for effective chip evacuation. A method for manufacturing the milling cutter includes rotating a cylindrical blank about its own longitudinal axis, rotating a disc-shaped flute grinding wheel) about a rotational axis of a flute wheel and moving the grinding wheel in a longitudinal direction so as to form the helical flute with the gully having the flute base with the planar or convex portion in profile.

The liner system also includes one or more attachment assemblies, each including a bolt, for securing the lifter bar to the mill shell. The insert elements are configured to maintain the bolt in a predetermined position in which an axis of the bolt is aligned with the channel axis.

    摘要: An apparatus for grinding saw teeth of a saw blade measures and grinds the tip of each tooth independently before advancing successively each tooth on the saw blade for grinding. The apparatus includes a pair of grinding wheels movable toward and away from a sawtooth secured in the grinding position. The grinding wheels are under the control of programmable controller which moves the grinding wheels in response to measurements of the side clearances on the tooth made by a tip measurement probe. The method includes measuring the side clearance of a sawtooth in the grinding position with the probe, comparing the measured dimension to a preselected dimension, and moving the grinding wheels to grind the tooth if the measured dimensions exceeds the preselected dimension. Another measurement is taken and the steps are repeated for each tooth until the sawtooth is ground within the preselected dimension. The next tooth is then advanced to the grinding position.

    摘要: A tool (15) to be ground is mounted in a vertical position to the upper end of a vertically oriented piston (21). The lower end of the piston (21) is received into the open end of a cylinder (22). Radial fluid bearings (28, 29) are pressurized to permit rotational and longitudinal movement of the piston (21) with respect to the cylinder (22). Pressurized fluid is delivered to the piston (21) to exert a force on the piston (21) that nearly counterbalances the combined weight of the piston (21) and the tool (15). Additional fluid pressure or some other suitable force is applied to move the piston (21) and the tool (15) axially upwardly. At the end of the upward stroke, the additional force on the piston (21) is removed to allow said combined weight to move the piston (21) and the tool (15) downwardly. During the upward stroke, the downward stroke, or both the upward and the downward strokes, a grinding wheel (13) is held in a fixed position to contact a side surface of tool (15). Rotational movement of tool (15) may be produced and guided by finger (18) as the tool (15) is moving axially and is in contact with the grinding wheel (13). The bearings (28, 29) may be carried by the piston (21) or by the cylinder (22).
