摘要： An apparatus in one embodiment has: a positioning functionality that sequentially locates, at a predefined bight, coupons of a continuous web of coupons; a burst functionality whereby a foremost coupon is separated at the predefined bight from a next coupon of the continuous web of coupons; a staging functionality whereby the separated foremost coupon is moved to a staging position; and an insertion functionality whereby the first coupon is inserted into a container. In another embodiment the first coupon is inserted into a container only after the next coupon is separated from the continuous web. In another embodiment after the second coupon is sensed, the first coupon is burst and inserted into a container.

The envelope contains a replacement presentation instrument and a shipping indicator, and the shipping indicator includes a shipping address visible through a first substantially clear window in the envelope. Each shipping container has a second substantially clear window, and when the envelope has been inserted into the shipping container, the shipping address is visible through the second substantially clear window.

Pills are automatically dispensed into the prescription bottles in the carriers. Multiple bottles of an order are automatically packed in the same shipping container.

摘要： A drive apparatus for a mail-processing system is specified, which apparatus has an enclosure-collating path, which is intermittently driven at least in one end section, an adjoining inserting station for sets of enclosures and an envelope-filling table, which extends parallel to the enclosure-collating path and in front of the inserting station and over which envelopes pulled from a stack of envelopes are pulled by means of an envelope-gripper chain in front of the inserting station and held open there and, once filled with the sets of enclosures, are conveyed away by the gripper chain. A reduction of mass moments of inertia of the drive for the envelope-gripper chain together with simplification of the structure of this drive and a conveying system of a modular design are achieved by a drive section as a chain drive or toothed-belt drive being guided downwards from an intermittently rotating drive shaft out of the region of the enclosure-collating path to a chain wheel or a belt pulley which is mounted in a substructure of the envelope-filling table. From there, a chain drive or toothed-belt drive leads in the substructure of the envelope-filling table to a chain wheel or a toothed-belt pulley which is mounted at the free end of a rocker, the free end of the rocker undergoing an approximately vertically oriented guidance in the substructure of the installation, while the upper end of the rocker is supported and mounted coaxially in relation to a drive shaft for the envelope-gripper chain on the envelope-filling table which is displaceable in relation to the substructure. A chain drive transmits the intermittent drive movement finally from the lower end of the rocker to the upper end of the rocker, onto the drive shaft which is coaxial to the rocker pivoting axis and is intended for the driving-chain wheel of the envelope-gripper chain.

摘要： Articulated dunnage having at least two corner support portions joined along a hinge. The dunnage is movable between an open orientation and a folded configuration. The dunnage may be formed in the open configuration so that the dunnage is biased in the open orientation by the shape memory of the polymeric material. The dunnage is configured to be fitted around a portion of the article and to extend between adjacent corners of the container when in the folded configuration. The present invention also provides a method for packaging using articulating dunnage including the general steps of (a) placing the dunnage in the open configuration on the container over the opening, (b) moving the article into engagement with the dunnage, and (c) inserting the article and dunnage into the container through the opening, the action of inserting the article and dunnage into the container causing the dunnage to move from the open configuration to the closed configuration.
