摘要: Disclosed herein are various embodiments of a hydraulic actuator that includes one or more check valves having a dynamically varying cracking pressure. In certain embodiments, a hydraulic actuator may be configured to vary the cracking pressure of a check valve based on an operating condition of a pump of the hydraulic actuator. The check valve may be located along a bypass path in the hydraulic actuator, thereby allowing for fluid flow to bypass a pump of the hydraulic actuator by passing through the check valve. The use of such hydraulic actuators is contemplated in, for example, an active suspension system of a vehicle. Additionally, various embodiments of suitable check valves are disclosed. Additionally, methods are disclosed for operation of the check valve and the hydraulic actuator.

摘要: A vacuum pumping line plasma source is provided. The plasma source includes a body defining a generally cylindrical interior volume extending along a central longitudinal axis. The body has an input port for coupling to an input pumping line, an output port for coupling to an output pumping line, and an interior surface disposed about the generally cylindrical interior volume. The plasma source also includes a supply electrode disposed adjacent to a return electrode, and a barrier dielectric member, a least a portion of which is positioned between the supply electrode and the return electrode. The plasma source further includes a dielectric barrier discharge structure formed from the supply electrode, the return electrode, and the barrier dielectric member. The dielectric barrier discharge structure is adapted to generate a plasma in the generally cylindrical interior volume.

摘要: In one general aspect, a flow control valve includes: a housing including a tubular wall surrounding an interior passage, and a flow control section in which the tubular wall includes a conical inner wall surface; a protrusion disposed on an exterior surface of the tubular wall at the flow control section; a sealing member disposed in the housing and configured to be selectively moved to a sealing position in which the sealing member engages the conical inner wall surface to restrict flow of a fluid through the interior passage; and a recess disposed the conical inner wall surface and configured to allow the fluid to flow past the sealing member through the recess when the sealing member is in the sealing position, wherein the recess and the protrusion are radially aligned on the tubular wall.

摘要: A fitting for injecting a first fluid into an injection port of a cable accessory. The fitting includes at least one seal positioned on an injection nozzle. The nozzle is configured to be inserted into the port and has an internal fluid passageway through which the first fluid is injected into the accessory. The seal forms at least one fluid tight seal between the nozzle and the port. The fluid tight seal prevents the first fluid from exiting the accessory and flowing into an outer portion of the port and prevents a second fluid from flowing into an inner portion of the port. The first and second fluids have first and second voltage potentials, respectively. The second voltage potential is different from the first voltage potential. The seal isolates the first and second voltage potentials by isolating the first fluid from the second fluid.

摘要: A valve assembly includes a piston housing inside a flow duct between an inlet and an outlet so as to form an annular flow passage between the flow duct and the piston housing. The piston housing is axially aligned with a center axis of the flow duct. A piston is inside the piston housing and is configured to extend downstream of the piston housing in a closed position. A spring biases the piston to the open position. A fluid chamber is between the piston and an upstream end of the piston housing. A control opening extends through the upstream end of the piston housing and fluidically communicates with the flow duct and the fluid chamber. A control piston and a control spring are inside the piston housing. The control spring biases the control piston toward a first position that obstructs the control opening.

The disc retention cage captures the movable disc to the seat body through retention elements, which engage in a groove circumferentially disposed around a flange of the seat body. The movable disc has a stem on the outlet side, which guides the movement of the disc by engaging with a through-hole in the disc retention cage. A compression spring maintains the movable disc in a normally closed position against the seat body.

The change-over valve according to the invention is characterized in that the fluid that is routed by way of the at least one piston inlet (9) in the course of the second flow path is routed by way of a first piston outlet that is provided on that piston end side that faces away from the piston base (10), and in that a flow throttle (12), a flow regulator (11), or a return flow preventer is provided in the first piston outlet.
