Abstract: The invention relates to a scroll compressor (10) and to a method for operating the scroll compressor (10). The scroll compressor (10) has a stator (15), an orbiter (20) which can be moved about an orbiter axis (55) relative to the stator (15), and a coupling device (50). The stator (15) and the orbiter (20) engage into each other and at least partly delimit at least one working area (105) for compressing a fluid (110) which can be filled into the working area (105). The coupling device (50) has a first coupling unit (60) which is arranged on the stator (15) and a second coupling unit (65) which is arranged on the orbiter (20) opposite the first coupling unit (60), wherein the first coupling unit (60) is magnetically coupled to the second coupling unit (65), and the second coupling unit (65) introduces a coupling torque (MK) which acts about the orbiter axis (55) into the orbiter (20).

Abstract: Described herein are methods and compositions for improved hybridization capture for enriching for target nucleic acid sequences from a population of nucleic acids. In one aspect, the methods and compositions are useful for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) applications. The methods and compositions include combining in solution capture probes and target nucleic acid and permitting hybridization of the target nucleic acid to the capture probes under conditions to promote efficient hybridization. Following hybridization, the probe/target complex is immobilized to a capture material while simultaneously incubating at an optimum hybridization temperature. The incubation denatures unwanted nucleic acids from the capture probes further enriching for target nucleic acid.

Abstract: A rotary impact tool includes a housing, an electric motor, and a drive assembly for converting a continuous torque input from the motor to consecutive rotational impacts upon a workpiece. An anvil has a bore defining a hexagonal cross-sectional shape and having a nominal width of 7/16 inches. A hammer is rotationally and axially movable relative to the anvil for imparting the consecutive rotational impacts upon the anvil. A spring biases the hammer in an axial direction toward the anvil. A battery pack has a nominal voltage of at least 18 Volts and a nominal capacity of at least 5 Ah. The rotary impact tool has an overall weight including the battery pack that is less than or equal to 7.5 pounds. A second performance ratio of the rotary impact tool, defined as (ηa×RPMno-load/Inertiahammer)×(1/216,000,000) is greater than 2.

Abstract: The invention, which discloses a blockchain consensus method, apparatus and system, relates to the technical field of computers. A specific implementation mode of the method comprises: a leader node in the same network as a client receiving a transaction message sent by the client and a transaction message sent by at least one peer node, or receiving transaction messages sent by at least two peer nodes; sending the transaction messages to a leader node in a previous-level network till the priority of the previous-level network is the highest if transaction data in the transaction messages are consistent; a leader node in a highest-priority network generating a proposal message according to the received transaction messages, and performing a consensus judgment on the proposal message based on a Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus mechanism; sending the proposal message to a leader node in a next-level network till the next-level network is the network where the client is located after the success in the consensus judgment. The implementation mode can solve the technical problems of a long transaction confirmation time and a small transaction volume carried by a block.

Abstract: Arc fault protection for a digital electricity distribution system that provides power to a device. The system includes an arc fault circuit interrupter (“AFCI”) and a controller. The controller is connected to the AFCI. The controller is operable to control the AFCI to disable power to the device. The controller includes a processor and a memory. The controller is configured to transmit a digital electricity energy packet through the AFCI to the device, measure an amount of error associated with the digital electricity energy packet, evaluate the amount of error associated with the digital electricity energy packet, determine whether an arc fault condition is present based on the evaluation of the amount of error associated with the digital electricity energy packet, and control the AFCI to disable power to the device when the arc fault condition is determined to be present.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a liquid crystal display substrate and a color separation element substrate. The display substrate has a stripe structure in which different color filters are alternately arranged in a display area along a first direction and the same color filters are arranged along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and the different color filters are compartmentalized by frames along the first direction and the second direction. The element substrate has color separation grooves formed along the first direction in the display area, and grooves formed along the second direction in a region thereof where the color separation grooves are formed, so as to oppose the frame of the display substrate.
