摘要： A pipe interruption fitting having a flange is removable after pipe maintenance work has been completed. The fitting includes an upper reinforcing plate, an inner surface of which has a curvature corresponding to an outer surface of the pipe, and a vertical pipe welded to the upper reinforcing plate. The fitting further includes an adaptor welded to the vertical pipe. Bolt holes are formed in an upper surface of the adaptor. A through hole is formed through the adaptor. An annular groove is formed in an inner surface of the through hole. The flange is removably coupled to the adaptor. Coupling holes are formed in the flange for installation of a boring machine or a stopple machine. The fitting further includes a plug fitted into the through hole of the adaptor and having an expansion plate to be inserted into the annular groove. A cover is adapted to be inserted into the through hole of the adaptor and to be welded thereto.

摘要： A blade holder for cutting machines includes a blade head held on a raising and lowering device and an adjustment mechanism for a circular blade that is held on the blade head. The adjustment mechanism, for the movement of the circular blade between a cutting position and a ready position, is provided with an adjustment piston rod having an adjustment piston that is guided in a chamber of the blade head housing and can be moved by compressed air. The adjustment piston rod is biased by a compression spring into the ready position of the circular blade. The piston surface of the adjustment piston has a cross-sectional area that is configured such that as the path of the adjustment piston in the direction of adjustment increases, the piston surface that is acted upon by compressed air increases.

In the method, a vacuum, surface tension is produced, which is large enough to fix the position of the workpiece, by using a vacuum over a layer acting as a distributor or a diffuser on the surface of the workpiece to be machined. The distributor or diffuser is made up of a thin-walled, completely or partially air-permeable, heat-reactive layer. The workpiece is then machined, and a cutting speed and rate of feed is adjusted, such that a defined local heating takes place in a contact area between the tool and workpiece. The peak temperature at the contact area is greater or the same as a melting temperature of the surface of the distributor or diffuser.

摘要： A vehicle steering system having a steering handle for steering at least one wheel is provided, and includes an arrangement for applying torque to the steering handle and a sensor for detecting applied steering torque. The arrangement generates a return torque, as a function of the steering angle, for driving the steering handle into a central position. During a first driving state in which applied steering torque is above a threshold value, the function curve of the return torque increases monotonically and no return torque is generated at a steering angle of zero. During a second driving state in which applied steering torque is below the threshold value, the arrangement generates a return torque that is greater than that given by the function curve in the first driving state, at least at small steering angles.
